Buffalo Bills RB James Cook had a league-leading 935 rushing yards before contact during the 2025 regular season.
Huddle Up: Cook finished the season as the leading rusher in the NFL with 1,621 yards and also ranked third in the league with 309 carries. He may work with in a new offensive system next season but should still see plenty of touches during games. He will likely be a first-round pick in drafts and will be a must-start fantasy option each week.

Buffalo Bills RB James Cook faces the Jacksonville Jaguars in the wild-card round, and the Jaguars allowed a league-low 85.6 rushing yards per game in the regular season.
Huddle Up: Cook was the NFL's leading rusher, but he will be facing a defense that didn't allow a 100-yard rusher all season. While the matchup isn't ideal, Cook should still be starting in fantasy playoff leagues. On the other hand, he probably isn't the back to pay up for in DFS contests this weekend.

Buffalo Bills RB James Cook rushed twice for 15 yards in Week 18 against the New York Jets, and he was not used in the passing game, before leaving early for rest.
Huddle Up: Cook should be rested and raring to go for the wild-card round of the playoffs. Ray Davis and Ty Johnson filled in admirably, but it's Cook's backfield, and he is a sensation early-round pick in fantasy postseason leagues and a good pick in DFS.

Buffalo Bills RB James Cook (non-injury) fully participated in practice Friday, Jan. 2, and is not on the injury report for Week 18.
Huddle Up: Cook has been one of the top running backs in the NFL this season and has posted at least 100 rushing yards in four of his last six games. He should see plenty of touches again this week and is a must-start option in leagues.

Buffalo Bills RB James Cook (non-injury) did not participate in practice Thursday, Jan. 1.
Huddle Up: The Bills have a chance to earn a better playoff spot, so Cook should see a good amount of touches in Week 18. He is a weekly starting option in all leagues when healthy.

Buffalo Bills RB James Cook rushed 20 times for 74 yards and caught one pass for three yards in a 13-12 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 17.
Huddle Up: While it wasn't Cook's finest performance of the year, he did top 70 rushing yards for the sixth game in a row. Cook has enjoyed a career year, and he heads into the season finale with a great chance at capturing a rushing title.
