Free-agent WR Calvin Austin (Steelers) agreed to terms on a one-year contract with the New York Giants Thursday, March 12, worth as much as $4.5 million.
Huddle Up: The Giants lost Wan'Dale Robinson this offseason, so Austin has a chance to earn a solid role in the passing game. Fantasy players can keep an eye on him during training camp because he can be a No. 5 or No. 6 fantasy receiver depending on his role.

RB Kenneth Gainwell picked up 20 yards on six carries, and he also caught four passes for 26 yards. WR DK Metcalf had two receptions for 42 yards; he was targeted five times. WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling logged 26 yards on three receptions. WR Adam Thielen posted two receptions for 25 yards. WR Calvin Austin was held to three catches and eight yards. Pittsburgh Steelers WR Calvin Austin had three receptions, 55 yards, and a touchdown in a Week 18 win over the Baltimore Ravens.
Huddle Up: Austin hauled in a 26-yard pass from Aaron Rodgers with less than a minute left to lift the Steelers to a two-point win over Baltimore. It was his first touchdown since Week 3, and the 55 yards were his highest output since Week 9. Despite being one of the heroes on Sunday night, Austin holds little appeal in the Wild Card round with DK Metcalf set to return from his suspension.

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Calvin Austin (hamstring) was limited during practice Thursday, Jan. 1.
Huddle Up: Austin has been a limited participant in the first two practices of the week and could be a game-time decision this week. Fantasy players should monitor the situation because Austin could be a possible flex option in some deeper leagues if he plays since the Steelers will still be without DK Metcalf.
