Houston Texans QB C.J. Stroud completed 11 of his 30 pass attempts for 191 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions against the New York Jets on Thursday, Oct. 31. Stroud, who ran eight times for 59 yards, was sacked a career-high eight times and lost a fumble.
Huddle Up: With Stefon Diggs (knee) and Nico Collins (hamstring) both out, Houston's passing game looked severely compromised. The offensive line also struggled to protect Stroud, who was sacked a career-high eight times. It's the second tough showing from Stroud in the past three games (he had just 86 yards passing versus Green Bay in Week 7), and the second-year pro has not really delivered on expectations thus far in 2024, at least statistically. The good news is that Collins is expected back in Week 10, which reunites Stroud with his deep threat. We'll see if that reignites the passing game.

Houston Texans QB C.J. Stroud completed 25-of-37 passes for 285 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions in Week 8 against the Indianapolis Colts, and he was credited with one run for minus-10 yards.
Huddle Up: Stroud bounced back from an absolute disaster in Green Bay last weekend, but it was a stat line still lacking in fantasy points. He'll look to rebound in Week 9 against the New York Jets on Thursday night, but that's a tough matchup. Treat him as more of a QB2 for that one.

Houston Texans QB C.J. Stroud went 10-for-21 for 86 yards, zero touchdowns and zero interceptions against the Green Bay Packers in Week 7. He also rushed for 19 yards on five carries during the game.
Huddle Up: Stroud had his worst game of the season against the Packers but is still one of the better quarterbacks in the NFL. He should have more success next week and will be a starting option in all fantasy leagues.

Houston Texans QB C.J. Stroud went 20-for-31 for 192 yards, three touchdowns and one interception against the New England Patriots in Week 6. He also rushed for seven yards on three carries during the game.
Huddle Up: Stroud posted a season-low 192 yards this week but threw a season-high three touchdowns during the game. He has been playing well this season and should be a weekly starting option in all fantasy leagues.

Houston Texans QB C.J. Stroud went 28-for-38 for 331 yards, one touchdown and one interception against the Buffalo Bills in Week 5. He also rushed for 27 yards on three carries during the game.
Huddle Up: Stroud has thrown for at least 300 yards in each of the last two games but has thrown at least two touchdowns in only two of his five games this season. He still has one of the best receiving corps to work with in the NFL and should be a weekly starting option in fantasy leagues.

Houston Texans QB C.J. Stroud completed 27 of his 40 passes for 345 yards and two touchdowns in a 24-20 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 4. He also rushed for 17 yards on three carries.
Huddle Up: Stroud topped 300 yards for the first time this season, but outside of his rough showing against Minnesota, he has been one of the steadier QB1 options to start the year.

Houston Texans QB C.J. Stroud went 20-for-31 for 215 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 3. He also rushed for 12 yards on three carries during the game.
Huddle Up: Stroud struggled at times against the Vikings but still posted decent numbers. He should be considered a No. 1 fantasy quarterback next week against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Houston Texans QB C.J. Stroud connected on 23 of his 36 passes for 260 yards and a touchdown versus the Chicago Bears on Sunday, Sept. 15.
Huddle Up: Stroud did most of his damage before halftime as Chicago's defense limited the Texans to just three second-half points. The injury to Joe Mixon was part of the problem, but it also looked like Houston got more conservative once they felt like the Bears couldn't make much happen against their defense. A trip to Minnesota in Week 3 suddenly looks like a tougher game that many would've anticipated, though they gave up 319 yards through the air to Brock Purdy on Sunday, so make sure to keep Stroud in your lineup.
