Tennessee Titans RB Tony Pollard amassed 301 touches in his first season with the team in 2024, but coach Brian Callahan would like to see more of an "even split" with Pollard, Tyjae Spears and a third back in 2025 in a "perfect world."
Huddle Up: A more even split was probably the plan last year as well, but Spears' injuries early on and the lack of a quality third back basically forced Callahan's hand. With that said, Spears and Pollard rarely ended up with similar workloads when they both played. Spears showed enough at the end of the year to make a case for more playing time, however, so expect Pollard to settle for roughly 50% of the backfield work while Spears gets about 35%. The Titans also drafted a thumper in Kalel Mullings, who could emerge as the preferred option short-yardage and goal-line option.

Tennessee Titans WR Tyler Boyd (foot), PK Nick Folk (abdomen), S Amani Hooker (shoulder), LB Arden Key (hand), LB Otis Reese (ankle), RB Tyjae Spears (concussion) and OT Jaelyn Duncan (shoulder) did not participate in practice Friday, Jan. 3, and have been ruled out for Week 18. WR Colton Dowell (knee) was limited during practice but has been ruled out. RB Tony Pollard (ankle) and TE Chig Okonkwo (abdomen) did not participate and are listed as questionable. OG Dillon Radunz (shoulder) fully participated in practice and is not on the injury report.

Tennessee Titans RB Tyjae Spears (concussion) did not participate in practice Friday, Jan. 3, and has been ruled out for Week 18.
Huddle Up: Tony Pollard is also dealing with an injury, so it is not known if Pollard or Julius Chestnut will be the main running back for the Titans in Week 18. Chestnut could be a flex option in most leagues if he receives most of the work at running back.

Tennessee Titans RBs Tony Pollard (ankle) and Tyjae Spears (concussion) did not practice on Friday, Jan. 3.
Huddle Up: Spears will almost certainly be ruled out later today after failing to practice all week. As for Pollard, the DNP is a downgrade from the two limited practices he had to begin the week. With little to gain from a win, expect Tennessee to rule him out as well. As a result, Julius Chestnut figures to handle the bulk of the workload and serve as a capable fantasy RB2 in Week 18 against the Houston Texans.

Tennessee Titans RB Tyjae Spears (concussion) did not take part in practice for the second consecutive day on Thursday, Jan. 2.
Huddle Up: After not practicing over the first two days, Spears is now highly unlikely to suit up in Week 18. He isn't a viable play, anyway, as fellow back Tony Pollard looks likely to return this week.

Tennessee Titans RB Tyjae Spears (concussion) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Jan. 1. The Titans did not hold a practice Wednesday, so this is an estimation.
Huddle Up: Spears has suffered multiple concussions this season, so he likely will not be available for the regular season finale. Tony Pollard seems to have a chance to play this week and can be at least a flex option if he is available.

Tennessee Titans RB Tyjae Spears' (head) status for Week 18 is uncertain at this point.
Huddle Up: Spears suffered a concussion earlier in the season, so the team likely will be cautious with him if he suffered another concussion. Fantasy players should keep an eye on the situation to see if he will be available.

Tennessee Titans RB Tyjae Spears (head) ran 20 times for 95 yards and caught three of four targets for eight yards at the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 17 on Sunday, Dec. 29. Spears was evaluated in the third quarter with a concussion.
Huddle Up: RB Tony Pollard (ankle) missed this contest via injury, and the team has no reason to risk long-term setback by playing him in a meaningless game next week, so look for Spears to get another crack at the RB1 chores. He's a fringe option vs. Houston, a defense that probably rests most key players with the No. 4 seed locked up.
