Houston Texans WR Tank Dell (knee) is expected to be ready for offseason activities, according to general manager Nick Caserio. "He worked very hard," Caserio said. "I think our performance group, they do a really good job. I would anticipate him being available for the offseason. Knowing Tank, he's probably cautiously optimistic that he's going to be able to go out there and be Tank Dell."
Huddle Up: Dell missed the entire season recovering from a knee injury, but he should be back in the mix in 2026. Whether or not he is still the speedy big-play threat he was prior to the injury remains to be seen, but Dell's upside will be worth taking a chance on as a WR4 or WR5.

Houston Texans WR Tank Dell (knee) tried to be medically cleared to play before the end of the 2025 season but was not able to return in time, according to head coach DeMeco Ryans.
Huddle Up: Dell missed the entire season because of his knee injury but should be ready for training camp next season. He will likely be a top three receiver for the Texans in 2026 and can be a No. 3 or No. 4 receiver in most fantasy leagues.

Houston Texans WR Tank Dell (knee) was placed on the Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform list Tuesday, Aug. 26, and will miss at least the first four games of the season.
Huddle Up: Dell is still recovering from a torn anterior cruciate ligament and there is no timetable for his return. He is a main part of the passing game when healthy but may not have fantasy value until the second half of the season. He can be avoided by fantasy players at this time.

Houston Texans WR Tank Dell (knee) is making terrific progress in his recovery from a torn anterior cruciate ligament but there is no timetable for his return, according to head coach DeMeco Ryans. Dell was placed on the Active/Physically Unable to Perform list Wednesday, July 23.
Huddle Up: It seems like Dell will not be ready for the start of the 2025 season, but fantasy players should keep an eye on his recovery during the preseason. He was playing very well before the injury and can be a No. 3 or No. 4 fantasy receiver when healthy. Players can consider stashing him on their roster if they have the room.

Houston Texans WR Tank Dell (knee) "will more than likely miss the 2025 season" while recovering from a knee injury, according to Jonathan Alexander of the Houston Chronicle.
Huddle Up: Given the extent of Dell's injury, 2026 was always a more reasonable timetable for his return. If you own Dell in a dynasty league, you have to hope he can return to form whenever he is able to take the field.

Houston Texans WR Tank Dell (knee) underwent surgery Wednesday, March 5, to repair his torn anterior cruciate ligament.
Huddle Up: Fantasy players will need to monitor the situation to see when Dell will be able to return to the field. He is a big part of the offense when healthy but may not be an option for players during the early part of the 2025 season.

Houston Texans WR Tank Dell (knee) is expected to make a full recovery from his injured knee and should have the opportunity to resume his career at some point, according to multiple sources. He has already undergone one surgical procedure to repair his lateral collateral and medial collateral ligaments and is slated to undergo another procedure to reconstruct his torn anterior cruciate ligament soon. He also dislocated his entire knee but no longer requires the use of crutches.
Huddle Up: Dell has a long road of recovery ahead of him and should not be counted on for 2025 fantasy drafts. There is a slim chance that he will be able to resume playing late in the 2025 season but 2026 appears to be more likely, although no official timeline has been released by the Texans.

Houston Texans WR Tank Dell (knee) is "on the right track" and "in much better spirits," according to head coach DeMeco Ryans on Thursday, Feb. 13.
Huddle Up: Dell is just under a month removed from the first of what is expected to be multiple surgeries on the knee injury he suffered in December. While there is a possibility that Dell can play at some point late in the 2025 season, fantasy managers should not hold their breath, as there is little chance he will be fully recovered from all of his injuries (torn ACL, MCL and LCL, meniscus damage and a dislocated kneecap) until 2026.

Houston Texans WR Tank Dell (knee) does not have a timetable for his return at this point since it is too early in his recovery, according to head coach DeMeco Ryans.
Huddle Up: Dell suffered a serious knee injury near the end of the season, so there is a good chance that he will not be ready for the start of the 2025 season. Fantasy players will need to monitor the situation during the offseason because Dell can be at least a flex option when healthy.
