Free-agent RB Keaton Mitchell (Ravens) agreed to a two-year, $9.25 million deal with the Los Angeles Chargers Thursday, March 12. The deal includes $5 million guaranteed and has a maximum value of $11.25 million.
Huddle Up: Mitchell has played just 26 games in three seasons, but he has averaged 6.3 yards per carry and has broken a 55-yarder in two of the three seasons. He'll bring some speed to Mike McDaniel's playbook, but health has betrayed him. Keep tabs on him during training camp for a potential RB4 grab.

Baltimore Ravens RB Keaton Mitchell will reportedly not be tendered by the Ravens and will become a free agent, according to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com on Monday, March 9.
Huddle Up: Mitchell has speed and quickness that teams will covet in free agency and he'll have his pick of NFL teams almost immediately. He has yet to fulfill his potential after bursting on the scene with the Ravens in 2023 with several long runs. After a torn ACL that ended his season in 2023, Mitchell played sparingly in 2024, but averaged 5.8 yards per carry in 2025, tallying 341 rushing yards and a touchdown on just 59 carries. Keep an eye on Mitchell and where he lands, because he will no doubt be a fantasy sleeper running back for 2026.

Baltimore Ravens RB Keaton Mitchell has recorded a run of 10-plus yards on 18.2 percent of his carries, the highest rate in the league since 2023 among running backs with at least 100 rushing attempts.
Huddle Up: Coming back from a torn ACL, Mitchell averaged 5.8 yards per carry on 59 attempts in 2025. His speed and big-play ability are undeniable, but Derrick Henry is currently blocking his path to a bigger workload. Still, Mitchell will be worth grabbing in the later rounds of most drafts in 2026. He would have an enormous ceiling if Henry were to miss time.

Baltimore Ravens RB Keaton Mitchell carried the ball twice for two yards against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 18.
Huddle Up: While he had a nice kickoff return before the final drive, Mitchell was used sparingly otherwise, which wasn't a huge surprise given what was on the line. On paper, he's an ideal complement to Derrick Henry, offering a speed element to pair with Henry's power. While he never saw a ton of action this year, bear in mind he was coming off a torn ACL, so he should be fully healed come September. Entering a contract year, Mitchell could be a nice late-round selection with some upside.

Baltimore Ravens RB Keaton Mitchell rushed nine times for 31 yards and caught two passes for seven yards in a 41-24 win over the Green Bay Packers in Week 17.
Huddle Up: Mitchell continues to operate as the primary backup to Derrick Henry, but for the second week in a row, Mitchell was unable to break any big runs. He has plenty of value as a handcuff to Henry, but in his current role, his production is too dependent on a big plays to be used as a fantasy starter.

Baltimore Ravens RB Keaton Mitchell calf) fully participated in practice Thursday, Dec. 25, and is not on the injury report for Week 17.
Huddle Up: Mitchell has been a factor in the running game over the last few weeks and should see a decent amount of touches against the Green Bay Packers. He can be a possible flex option in some deeper leagues.
