New England Patriots RB James White ran for 12 yards on four carries and added six catches on seven targets for 49 yards in Week 1 versus the Miami Dolphins.
Huddle Up: It's the kind of low-key, double-digit PPR day fantasy managers got used to when Tom Brady was in town. White will rarely ever dazzle the masses or put up gaudy numbers for fantasy purposes, but he's a great fill-in play for managers because he is such a trusty option for quarterbacks who don't mind checking down like Brady and Mac Jones. White figures to be a steady if unspectacular flex option in PPR leagues again in Week 2 against the New York Jets.

Updating an earlier report, free-agent RB James White (Patriots) signed a one-year, $2.5 million fully guaranteed deal with the New England Patriots Wednesday, March 24.
Huddle Up: White is an RB5 in PPR leagues, but he has no value in non-PPR formats.

Free-agent RB James White (Patriots) is expected to re-sign with the New England Patriots, according to sources.
Huddle Up: White has some PPR viability, but he doesn't have the game-breaking talent to rack up enough yardage to be a reliable asset.

Free-agent RB James White (Patriots) is receiving interest from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Huddle Up: White has more value in real football than in fantasy as he just doesn't run enough or have the playmaking ability to rack up yardage. He's still an RB5 in PPR leagues, though.

New England Patriots impending free-agent RB James White's 375 receiving yards in 2020 were the fewest since his rookie season when he appeared in three games, and his 49 receptions and 62 targets were his lowest totals since 2014.
Huddle Up: White has been a steady presence in the New England passing attack throughout his career, but he was largely an afterthought in the Cam Newton-led offense. His days as a PPR asset could be numbered, and at the very least, fantasy owners need to see where White is playing and who is throwing him the football before drafting him in 2021.

New England Patriots RB James White rushed twice for three yards in Week 15 against the Miami Dolphins and he added four receptions for 52 yards on his four targets.
Huddle Up: White's total scrimmage yards were OK, especially for those in deeper PPR leagues. However, a total of six touches simply will not do. He cannot be trusted outside of deeper leagues heading into Week 16 against the Bills on Monday night.

New England Patriots RB James White (foot) is officially active for the Week 15 game.
Huddle Up: White should see a decent amount of touches with Damien Harris sidelined and can be a flex option in deeper leagues.

New England Patriots RB James White (foot) was limited during practice Friday, Dec. 18, and is listed as questionable for Week 15.
Huddle Up: White probably will be in uniform for the game and will see a handful of touches against the Miami Dolphins. He has not been a great fantasy option over the last few weeks and can be avoided again this week.

New England Patriots RB James White (foot) was limited during practice Thursday, Dec. 17.
Huddle Up: White has played well at times this season but has been held to under 20 total yards in each of the last three games. Fantasy players should be able to find better options and keep White on the bench.

New England Patriots RB James White (foot) was limited during practice Wednesday, Dec. 16.
Huddle Up: White has not be a big factor on offense over the last few weeks and will be facing a tough Miami Dolphins defense in Week 15. Fantasy players should be able to find better options and can keep White on the bench.
