Denver Broncos QB Bo Nix (ankle) participated in seven-on-seven drills during practice Wednesday, June 17.
Huddle Up: Nix is working his way back from surgery and could be a full participant once training camp begins. He is coming off a terrific 2025 season and can be considered a low-end No. 1 or a high-end No. 2 quarterback in fantasy leagues.

Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton told the media on Thursday, June 11, that QB Bo Nix did some walkthrough work and will be out there for some work next week for minicamp.
Huddle Up: Nix being able to participate this early on is a good sign for his being ready for Week 1 of the season. He projects to be a reliable QB1 in lineups after the team traded for Jaylen Waddle this offseason.

Denver Broncos QB Bo Nix (ankle) is expected to have an increased role during the team's three-day mandatory minicamp, which begins June 16, according to head coach Sean Payton. Nix did not participate in the team's first full week of organized team activities but had thrown in pre-practice sessions.
Huddle Up: Nix is recovering from a fractured ankle sustained in January which required two offseason surgeries during the offseason. So far, he appears to be making good progress and could be back at full speed at some point in July. If Nix can prove that he is healthy during training camp, then he merits consideration as a QB1 option for most fantasy leagues.

Huddle Up: Nix coming back from an ankle injury, despite how significant it is, should not affect his play come the regular season. He has a chance to break into the QB1 mold with the addition of Jaylen Waddle, but at the very least, he is a dynamic late-round QB target.

Denver Broncos QB Bo Nix had a follow-up, cleanup procedure on his fractured right ankle last week. The 26-year-old broke it in the Broncos' divisional-round victory over Buffalo, and is "firmly on track to be ready for the start of training camp," according to the report.
Huddle Up: Nix was the QB7 last season, leading the NFL in pass attempts (612) while throwing for 3,931 yards and 25 touchdowns against 11 interceptions. He added five rushing scores. With Denver adding WR Jaylen Waddle to his disposal, Nix should be a solid, midrange QB1 in 2026.
