Las Vegas Raiders TE Brock Bowers told the media on Friday, May 29, he expects to be "the standard" in the team's new offense and to do that, he needs to stay healthy in 2026.
Huddle Up: Bowers, in a short amount of time in the NFL, has cemented himself as the TE1 in the league. With top pick Fernando Mendoza coming in at quarterback, he should be able to get back to being one of the biggest difference makers in fantasy football if he can stay healthy.

Las Vegas Raiders TE Brock Bowers might benefit more if QB Kirk Cousins wins the starting job to begin the season over presumptive No. 1 pick QB Francisco Mendoza. Cousins has excelled with multi-TE sets throughout his NFL career. "I've always really enjoyed playing with talented tight ends because of the curveball that it throws at defenses," Cousins said. "I expect Brock to be as good of a curveball as I've ever played with. Can't wait to see how we can use him and to get on the grass with him. Even routes on air, I think it's going to be exciting to see a guy like that go to work."
Huddle Up: Fantasy managers might be pulling for Cousins in the summer and into the preseason, as Bowers could struggle with a rookie signal caller learning the ropes in the NFL. Consistency is key, and the veteran Cousins could make the difference between Bowers being among the Top 3 options at the position, or being simply Top 10.

Las Vegas Raiders TE Brock Bowers (knee) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Wednesday, Dec. 24.
Huddle Up: Bowers finishes the season as the TE7 in PPR leagues, which is pretty decent since he dealt with a knee injury all season and played 12 games. Michael Mayer has a 23-192-1 line on the season and will likely not factor in much in fantasy the last two weeks of the season.

Las Vegas Raiders TE Brock Bowers posted five receptions for 33 yards and a touchdown on five targets in Week 16 against the Houston Texans.
Huddle Up: Bowers did a good job against a tremendous defense, and he now has four or more receptions in six consecutive games, while going for four touchdowns in the past four outings. He continues to chug along as a bona fide TE1 in all fantasy formats. The Raiders host the New York Giants in Week 17 in a very favorable fantasy matchup.

Las Vegas Raiders TE Brock Bowers posted six receptions for 28 yards on eight targets in Week 15 against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Huddle Up: Bowers had an awful fantasy performance, although he did have six receptions on eight targets. Despite the low yardage total, he remains an obvious must-start fantasy option on a poor real-life team.

Las Vegas Raiders TE Brock Bowers caught four of his five targets for 46 yards and a touchdown in a 24-17 loss to the Denver Broncos in Week 14.
Huddle Up: Bowers had a much better outing than he did in the first meeting with Denver when he was held to one catch. Bowers continues to be the only steady option in the Las Vegas passing attack, and he is a weekly TE1.

Las Vegas Raiders TE Brock Bowers went for four receptions, 63 yards and two touchdowns on four targets in Week 13 against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Huddle Up: Bowers has four or more receptions and 55+ receiving yards in four of his past five games, while totaling five touchdowns in the five-game span. He remains an obvious TE1 in all fantasy leagues heading into Week 14 against the Denver Broncos.

Las Vegas Raiders TE Brock Bowers registered six receptions for 55 yards on nine targets in Week 12 against the Cleveland Browns.
Huddle Up: Bowers has six or more receptions in three of his four games since returning from injury. He has gone without a touchdown in three straight since posting three touchdowns against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 9. Despite the scoreless drought, Bowers remains a top-tier fantasy option in all formats.

Las Vegas Raiders TE Brock Bowers had seven catches for 72 yards against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 11. Bowers was targeted a game-high 12 times.
Huddle Up: Facing a shaky Cowboys secondary, Bowers found space to operate throughout Monday night, turning a dozen targets into a respectable 7-72-0 line. Although he's been surpassed by Trey McBride as the overall TE1, Bowers is the only truly reliable playmaker on the Raiders' offense, and he remains a top-tier fantasy tight end that belongs in your lineup every week.

Las Vegas Raiders TE Brock Bowers had one reception for 31 yards against the Denver Broncos in Week 10. He was targeted three times.
Huddle Up: Coming off a game in which he posted a 12-127-3 line, Bowers was targeted just three times for one catch against Denver on Thursday night. It set seasonal lows across the board for the second-year tight end, and it represented a systematic failure of the Raiders' offense to get their most talented playmaker involved. Despite the poor showing, Bowers remains a high-end TE1 that should be locked into your lineup each week.
