New York Jets WR Adonai Mitchell did not have a reception on three targets in Week 18 against the Buffalo Bills.
Huddle Up: While Mitchell didn't have a great finish to the season, he still ended up with a career-high 33 receptions, 71 targets and 453 yards, while scoring his first two NFL touchdowns. He really blossomed coming over from Indianapolis to New York in the middle of the season. Remember, he was Shane Steichen's doghouse after dropping the ball at the 1-yard line, prior to reaching the end zone, in a game against the Los Angeles Rams, costing his team a win. That would have been his first NFL TD, too, so that really stung. He found a home with the Jets, and he could be part of the long-term play. However, in 2026, he is still only worth a look as a late-round flier unless the Jets severely upgrade the quarterbacks' room. Plus, Garrett Wilson will be returning, and that will bump down AD's targets and production, too.

New York Jets WR Adonai Mitchell enters Week 18 against the Buffalo Bills with 301 receiving yards on 24 receptions in seven games since coming over from the Indianapolis Colts. He needs 95 receiving yards to surpass the injured WR Garrett Wilson, who hasn't caught a pass since Oct. 12, for the team lead.
Huddle Up: Mitchell has taken advantage of a second chance in New York, showing he has the ability to play regularly in this league. He could be a vital part of the Gang Green offensive attack in 2026. However, at this point, he'd only be worth a look as a late-round flyer in redraft leagues.

New York Jets WR Adonai Mitchell registered three receptions for 22 yards on a game-high nine targets in Week 17 against the New England Patriots.
Huddle Up: Mitchell has three or more receptions in three consecutive games. He'll look to keep that streak going in the regular-season finale at Buffalo in Week 18.

New York Jets WR Adonai Mitchell caught three passes for 43 yards against the New Orleans Saints in Week 16. He was targeted six times during the game.
Huddle Up: Mitchell has been a main option in the passing game since being acquired for at least six targets in each of his six games with the Jets. He should continue to see a good amount of targets during games and could be a possible flex option in a majority of leagues.

New York Jets WR Adonai Mitchell caught six passes for 58 yards and one touchdown against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 15. He was targeted nine times during the game.
Huddle Up: Mitchell has been a big part of the Jets passing game since joining the team and has caught at least six passes in two of the last three games. He should continue to see a good amount of targets each game and can be a possible flex option in some leagues next week.

New York Jets WR Adonai Mitchell posted a single 24-yard reception on six targets in Week 14 against the Miami Dolphins.
Huddle Up: After hitting triple digits in receiving yardage in Week 13, he had a backslide. It wasn't all Mitchell's fault, as the Jets saw veteran Tyrod Taylor knocked out early due to a groin injury, so undrafted rookie third-string QB Brady Cook was thrust into action. It didn't go well. Mitchell has some upside, but he should be treated as nothing more than a WR4 or flex fantasy option heading into Week 15, perhaps lower if Taylor cannot go, and Justin Fields cannot return, leaving Cook to start.

New York Jets WR Adonai Mitchell was good for eight receptions for 102 yards and his first NFL touchdown on 12 targets in Week 13 against the Atlanta Falcons.
Huddle Up: Mitchell is going to be a popular addition off of the waiver wire heading into Week 14. His previous career high was 96 yards back in Week 4 as a member of the Indianapolis Colts, and he should have had his first NFL TD then, too, but he let go of the ball just before reaching the goal line, landing in Shane Steichen's doghouse. He has a new team now, and he could be a surprise fantasy help down the stretch if he keeps up this type of production. Still, treat him as a WR5 with upside heading into Week 14 against the Miami Dolphins.

New York Jets WR Adonai Mitchell caught two passes for 42 yards against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 12. He was targeted seven times during the game.
Huddle Up: Mitchell has been targeted 13 times in two games since joining the Jets and appears to be an important part of the team's passing game. He has only caught three of his 13 targets in the two games but should still see a similar workload in Week 13. He should probably be avoided in leagues until he can be a more consistent receiver for the team.

New York Jets WR Adonai Mitchell was targeted a team-high six times against the New England Patriots in Week 11, resulting in one reception for 10 yards.
Huddle Up: To be clear, Mitchell did not play well on Thursday night. Justin Fields had his best throw of the game on a deep shot to Mitchell that went right through the receiver's hands, and he dropped another one on a crossing route later in the game. Despite that, it was encouraging to see the Jets turn to the recently acquired wideout so often in the absence of Garrett Wilson (knee). It makes sense for New York to take a long look at Mitchell, who was a second-round pick just one year ago, and it's something those in deeper leagues should take note of. In fact, if you're desperate for receiving help or have a roster spot available, you might consider rolling the dice on Mitchell as a speculative addition. For those in standard formats, you're safe to take a wait-and-see approach.

New York Jets WR Allen Lazard and WR Adonai Mitchell have been declared inactive for the Week 10 game.
Huddle Up: Garrett Wilson, Tyler Johnson and John Metchie will likely be the main receivers for the Jets this week. Fantasy players should only consider Wilson as a starting fantasy option.
