Seattle Seahawks TE AJ Barner caught all five of his targets for 34 yards and a touchdown in Week 18 versus the Los Angeles Rams.
Huddle Up: The receptions are a season high for the 2024 fourth-round pick, while the yardage total matches a season high. Barner did well to post 30 catches and four touchdowns this year while sharing far too many snaps with Noah Fant. The University of Michigan product is on the rise and has a realistic shot of being viable in most fantasy leagues as early as next season.

Seattle Seahawks TE AJ Barner finished with two receptions for 14 yards and a touchdown on two targets in Week 13 against the New York Jets.
Huddle Up: Barner has two or more receptions in five straight games, while posting his first touchdown since Week 4. He has slowly started to become more of the offensive plan lately, but his fantasy value still remains limited to deeper leagues at this point. The Seahawks meet the Arizona Cardinals on the road in Week 14.

Seattle Seahawks TE AJ Barner caught three of his four targets for 19 yards in Week 12 against the Arizona Cardinals.
Huddle Up: Barner has been a low-end streaming candidate for nearly a month with Noah Fant (groin) unable to play, but the rookie was unable to top four catches and 27 yards in three November outings. Dynasty leaguers should continue to hold, but Barner can probably be dropped in most non-tight end premium formats now.

Seattle Seahawks TE AJ Barner ended up with two receptions for 15 yards on four targets in Week 11 against the San Francisco 49ers.

Seattle Seahawks TE AJ Barner registered four receptions for 27 yards on seven targets in Week 9 against the Los Angeles Rams.
Huddle Up: Barner stepped up and had a decent game, but he still has a ways to go before he is considered anything more than a low-end TE2 in fantasy leagues of 12 or more teams. The Seahawks are off in Week 10, so no need to bother with him in fantasy football until at least Week 11.

Seattle Seahawks TE AJ Barner had a 13-yard reception on his lone target in Week 5 against the New York Giants.

Seattle Seahawks TE AJ Barner finished with two receptions for 27 yards and his first NFL touchdown in Week 4 against the Detroit Lions.
Huddle Up: The former Michigan Wolverine had a big night back where he starred in college while winning a national title. He didn't see the ball in the first two games, but he has slowly been worked into the mix in the past two outings. Tight end is such a fantasy wasteland, that it doesn't take much to get onto the radar. Barner is worth keeping an eye on at this point, but don't burn a roster spot on him just yet. But, if he continues to see a decent workload in Week 5 against the New York Giants, consider him in deeper leagues.
