New England Patriots RB Damien Harris (ankle) was limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 29.
Huddle Up: Harris has received a majority of the carries since being activated from the Reserve/Injured list and should have a similar role if he is active this week. He will be sharing playing time with James White and Rex Burkhead but can be a flex option in standard leagues.

New England Patriots WR N'Keal Harry (concussion) did not participate in practice Thursday, Oct. 29.
Huddle Up: Harry's status for Week 8 is uncertain, so fantasy players will need to monitor the situation. Damiere Byrd and Jakobi Meyers may serve as the starting receivers for the Patriots in Week 8 because of injuries to Harry and Julian Edelman. Fantasy players probably will be able to find better options and can avoid the Patriots receivers.

Updating a previous report, New England Patriots WR Julian Edelman (knee) has undergone 'recent' surgery on his knee, according to a source. He is out of practice Thursday, Oct. 29, and is expected to miss Sunday's Week 8 game against the Buffalo Bills.
Huddle Up: Another blow to Edelman's fantasy owners and Cam Newton and the Patriots' struggling offense, which now will need more from WRs N'Keal Harry, Damiere Byrd and Jakobi Meyers. Use an IR spot to keep Edelman around if needed but certainly move on if you haven't already.

New England Patriots RB Damien Harris (ankle) was limited during practice Wednesday, Oct. 28.
Huddle Up: Harris has received at least 10 carries in two of his three games this season and has posted 177 yards in those games. He probably will continue to receive a majority of the carries in the running game and can be a flex option in standard leagues.

New England Patriots WR N'Keal Harry (concussion) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Oct. 28.
Huddle Up: Harry will need to pass the concussion tests before he is cleared to play, so fantasy players should check on his status later in the week. He has been held to only 27 yards in the last three games and can be avoided even if he plays.

New England Patriots WR Julian Edelman posted just one catch for 13 yards on three targets in Week 7 against the San Francisco 49ers.
Huddle Up: Edelman has just not jelled with Cam Newton at all, going for eight catches for 79 yards on 21 targets across the past four outings. He has been more of a WR5 in PPR leagues.

New England Patriots WR Jakobi Meyers posted four receptions for 60 yards in Week 7 against the San Francisco 49ers on six targets.
Huddle Up: Meyers entered last season with a lot of hype, but he didn't do much then, and he hasn't had much of an impact this season until now. He is not worth grabbing in fantasy right now, but monitor his role in Week 8 in Buffalo. If he continues to grasp the offense and see more consistent results, he has some upside.

New England Patriots RB Damien Harris rushed 10 times for 58 yards in Week 7 against the San Francisco 49ers and he added one catch for 12 yards on his only target.
Huddle Up: Harris was probably the most impressive fantasy option for the Pats, but that's not saying much. It was an ugly day all around. He remains nothing more than a low-end RB3 or flex play heading into Week 8 in Buffalo.

New England Patriots RB Rex Burkhead ran four times for just 12 yards in Week 7 against the San Francisco 49ers while adding three catches for 35 yards on four targets.
Huddle Up: Damien Harris received most of the run out of the backfield, but Burkhead was second in line. The Patriots got away from the run late, as they were getting their doors blown off. It will be interesting to see how the muddled backfield fantasy picture shakes down in Week 8 in Buffalo. Right now it's best to avoid the headache.

New England Patriots QB Cam Newton completed 9-of-15 passes for just 98 yards, no touchdowns and three interceptions in Week 7 against the San Francisco 49ers and he ran for 19 yards before being benched in the fourth quarter of a blowout loss. Head coach Bill Belichick said he just wanted to get QB Jarrett Stidham some experience, and Newton 'absolutely' remains the starter.
Huddle Up: Newton was tremendous early on, but the Patriots have really gone downhill quickly. He hasn't thrown for a touchdown in two games while getting picked off five times, and his only 300-yard game came in Week 2 in Seattle. Cam is looking like more of a QB2 at this juncture. The Pats travel to meet the Bills in Week 8.

New England Patriots WR N'Keal Harry (head) left the Week 7 game early and is being evaluated to a concussion.
Huddle Up: Harry will not return to the game if he is diagnosed with a concussion, so fantasy players should keep an eye on the situation. He entered the game with only 166 receiving yards on the season and can be avoided in most leagues even if he is cleared to play next week.

New England Patriots WR Julian Edelman (knee) is officially active for the Week 7 game.
Huddle Up: Edelman has been dealing with the injury for most of the season but has not missed any games. He should be one of the main options in the passing game and can be at least a No. 3 receiver in fantasy leagues.

New England Patriots WR Julian Edelman (knee) was limited during practice Friday, Oct. 23, and is listed as questionable for Week 7.
Huddle Up: Edelman is listed as questionable every week but has not missed any games because of the injury. He has been targeted at least six times in every game this season but has been limited to only 66 yards in the last three games. He will continue to be the main option in the passing game but may only be a No. 3 receiver or flex option.

New England Patriots RB James White (non-injury) fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 23, and has been removed from the Week 7 injury report.
Huddle Up: White has been targeted 20 times in three games and will continue to be used mostly in the passing game. He should be considered a flex option in point-per-reception leagues.

New England Patriots WR Julian Edelman (knee) was limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 22.
Huddle Up: Edelman should be on the field for Week 7 even though he has been dealing with the injury for several weeks. He should continue to be the main option in the passing game for the Patriots and can be a No. 3 receiver in fantasy leagues.

New England Patriots RB James White (unknown) didn't practice for the second straight day Thursday, Oct. 22.
Huddle Up: White's Wednesday absence was listed as non-injury related, and Thursday's could wind up being a continuation of the same. Definitely a situation to monitor if you're planning on using White in Week 7.

New England Patriots WR Julian Edelman (knee) was limited at practice Wednesday, Oct. 21.
Huddle Up: Edelman caught two passes for just eight yards in Week 6 for his worst performance of the season. He remains a WR3 but his range of production has been much wider this season while working with QB Cam Newton rather than Tom Brady.

New England Patriots WR Damiere Byrd led the team's receivers in snaps in Week 6. He played 55 of 57 offensive plays.
Huddle Up: It didn't translate to much in the stat sheet with three grabs for 38 yards, but he has had 14 targets combined in the last two games. Byrd showed some flashes with the Arizona Cardinals last season and is worth grabbing as a speculative flyer.

New England Patriots WR N'Keal Harry was targeted two times during the Week 6 game against the Denver Broncos but finished with zero receptions.
Huddle Up: Harry has been targeted at least six times in three of the five games this season but the Patriots passing game struggled against the Broncos. He should see some targets next week against the San Francisco 49ers and could be a flex option in some leagues.

New England Patriots WR Julian Edelman caught two passes for eight yards on six targets against the Denver Broncos in Week 6. He also completed two passes for 38 yards during the game.
Huddle Up: Edelman received the second most targets on the team but did not have a great connection with Cam Newton. He should have a better outing next week and can be a No. 2 or No. 3 fantasy receiver.

New England Patriots RB James White caught eight passes for 65 yards against the Denver Broncos in Week 6. He also rushed for eight yards on four carries during the game.
Huddle Up: White was a popular target for Cam Newton this week and will continue to be used mostly as a receiver for the Patriots. He can be at least a flex option in fantasy leagues and could be a low-end No. 2 running back in deeper point-per-reception leagues.

New England Patriots RB Rex Burkhead rushed for 14 yards on five carries against the Denver Broncos in Week 6.
Huddle Up: Burkhead is part of a committee at running back, which hurts his fantasy value. He probably will see a handful of touches next week but can be avoided in fantasy leagues.

New England Patriots RB Damien Harris rushed for 19 yards on six carries against the Denver Broncos in Week 6. He also caught one pass for 14 yards during the game.
Huddle Up: Harris shared carries with Rex Burkhead and James White during the game, so his was limited to six carries. He will continue to be part of a committee moving forward and may only be a flex option in fantasy leagues.

New England Patriots QB Cam Newton went 17-for-25 for 157 yards, zero touchdowns and two interceptions against the Denver Broncos in Week 6. He also rushed for 76 yards and one touchdown on 10 carries during the game.
Huddle Up: Newton was back in the lineup after recovering from COVID-19 but struggled in the passing game. He still has plenty of fantasy value because of his running ability and can be a low-end No. 1 quarterback or bye week replacement next week.

New England Patriots WR Julian Edelman (knee) is active for Week 6's game against the Denver Broncos.
Huddle Up: Edelman had been listed as questionable on the injury report after participating on a limited basis in practice throughout the week. He can be used as a low-end WR2 or high-end WR3 in fantasy leagues this afternoon.

New England Patriots WR Julian Edelman (knee) was limited during practice Friday, Oct. 16, and is listed as questionable for Week 6. The Patriots did not hold a practice Friday, so this is an estimation.
Huddle Up: Edelman continues to be on the injury report but will be able to play in the Week 6 game. He is a bit of a risky option since it is not known if the game will be played on time, but he can be a No. 2 or No. 3 fantasy receiver if he plays.

New England Patriots WR Julian Edelman (knee) was limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 15.
Huddle Up: Edelman will be able to play this week despite being on the injury report and should see a boost in his value with Cam Newton expected to return. He can be considered a No. 2 receiver in most fantasy leagues.
