San Francisco 49ers RB Deebo Samuel (knee, ribs) remains a question mark ahead of the Week 5 game against the Dallas Cowboys. Officially, he is listed as day to day.
Huddle Up: Samuel was active against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 4, but he was limited to just three carries with no receptions or target. If Deebo is active in Week 5, he is still a little bit of a risky play against a mighty tough defense.

San Francisco 49ers WR Deebo Samuel (knee, ribs) is officially active for the Week 4 game.
Huddle Up: Samuel probably will receive something close to his normal workload this week and should be a starting option in all starting leagues.

San Francisco 49ers RB Elijah Mitchell (knee) has been declared inactive for the Week 4 game.
Huddle Up: Mitchell suffered the injury during practice and will miss at least one game. Jordan Mason could see a few more touches with Mitchell out but can be avoided in fantasy leagues. Christian McCaffrey is the only 49ers running back that would be a starting option in all leagues.

San Francisco 49ers WR Jauan Jennings (shin) is not expected to play in Week 4's game against the Arizona Cardinals.
Huddle Up: Jennings had been listed as doubtful on the injury report after not practicing at all during the week. WRs Ronnie Bell, Ray-Ray McCloud or Willie Snead could see additional targets this afternoon if Jennings is held out of action but none of them should be viewed as viable fantasy options.

San Francisco 49ers RB Elijah Mitchell (knee) did not participate in practice Friday, Sept. 29, and is listed as questionable for Week 4.
Huddle Up: Mitchell was added to the injury report late in the week, so his status for Week 4 is uncertain. He will see some carries in the running game if he plays but can be avoided in most fantasy leagues.

San Francisco 49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk (shoulder) fully participated in practice Friday, Sept. 29, and is not on the injury report for Week 4.
Huddle Up: Aiyuk will see a good amount of targets this week after missing the Week 3 game because of the injury. He should be a starting option in all fantasy leagues this week.

San Francisco 49ers WR Deebo Samuel (ribs, knee) was limited during practice Friday, Sept. 29, and is listed as questionable for Week 4.
Huddle Up: Samuel probably will be a game-time decision, so fantasy players will need to wait for the inactive list for his official status. He is a weekly starting option when healthy, but players will need a backup plan ready in case he sits out.

San Francisco 49ers WR Deebo Samuel (knee, ribs) is expected to be questionable for the Week 4 game, according to head coach Kyle Shanahan.
Huddle Up: Samuel probably will be a game-time decision, so fantasy players will need to monitor the situation over the next few days. He is a starting option when healthy, but players will need to have other options available in case he sits out.

San Francisco 49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk (shoulder) was limited in practice for the second straight day on Thursday, Sept. 28.
Huddle Up: Aiyuk had two limited practices to close out last week before sitting out, so he may need to register a full session on Friday to play. If he suits up, Aiyuk is a flex option, but he could see a monster workload in Week 4 should Deebo Samuel (ribs, knee) sit.

San Francisco 49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk (shoulder) was limited during practice Wednesday, Sept. 27.
Huddle Up: Aiyuk missed the Week 3 game because of the injury but seems to have a decent chance to play in Week 4. He should be a starting option in all leagues if he is active for the game.

San Francisco 49ers WR Deebo Samuel (ribs) was not seen during practice Monday, Sept. 25.

San Francisco 49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk (shoulder) participated in practice Monday, Sept. 25.

San Francisco 49ers RB Elijah Mitchell had 11 carries for 42 yards against the New York Giants in Week 3. He also caught three passes for two yards.
Huddle Up: With San Francisco on a short week, the team finally got Mitchell some touches. At this point there seems to be no plan to consistently involve Mitchell on a weekly basis, so it'll be difficult to plug him into your lineup. He remains arguably the top handcuff out there, however, and is a must-own for anyone that has Christian McCaffrey on their roster.

San Francisco 49ers QB Brock Purdy completed 25 of his 37 passes for a career-best 310 yards, 2 TDs, and 0 INTs in an 18-point win over the New York Giants on Thursday, Sept. 21.
Huddle Up: For the seventh time in eight career regular-season starts, Purdy threw for multiple touchdowns while also surpassing the 300-yard mark for the first time. His lack of running and typically modest yardage totals ensure he won't be a "set it and forget it" QB1 anytime soon, but he continues to prove he can be used in the right matchup. Speaking of, he faces Arizona in Week 4. He saw them in Week 18 last year and tossed three TD passes.

San Francisco 49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk (shoulder) is inactive for the Week 3 game against the New York Giants.
Huddle Up: Aiyuk's absence will likely mean more work for Jauan Jennings, but he's a desperation flex play, at best.

San Francisco 49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk (shoulder) was limited during practice Wednesday, Sept. 20, and is listed as questionable for Week 3.
Huddle Up: Aiyuk likely will be a game-time decision, so fantasy players will need to check the inactive list for his official status. He should be a starting option in all leagues if active, but players need other options available if he does not play.

San Francisco 49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk (shoulder) was upgraded to a limited practice for the team's walk-through practice on Tuesday, Sept. 19.
Huddle Up: Aiyuk found out his clavicle was not broken as a result of a CT scan on Monday. It was later reported that if he plays on Thursday against the New York Giants, it will be a matter of pain tolerance. Fantasy managers should assume - at least for now - that Aiyuk will be ruled out or play a limited role and hope the extra 1 1/2 weeks is enough to help him feel better for Week 4 against the Arizona Cardinals. Look for George Kittle to get more involved than he has been through two weeks if that ends up being the case.

San Francisco 49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk (shoulder) underwent a CT scan on Monday, Sept. 18, that revealed no break in his clavicle area, according to a source. Per the source, Aiyuk's ability to play in Week 3 against the New York Giants will depend on pain tolerance.
Huddle Up: Considering the 49ers are playing on Thursday this week, it may be in his and their best interest to give him some time to heal up. Although San Francisco is obviously better with him in the lineup, Christian McCaffrey, Deebo Samuel and George Kittle can capably carry the offense against one of the more disappointing teams in the league two games into the season. Jauan Jennings might be worth adding in the deepest of leagues, but the likelihood is the aforementioned trio picks up the slack if Aiyuk sits.

San Francisco 49ers TE George Kittle (groin) fully participated in practice Friday, Sept. 15, and is not on the injury report for Week 2.
Huddle Up: Kittle posted only 19 yards in the Week 1 game but was targeted six times during the game. He should be able to improve on his numbers and should be a starting option in all fantasy leagues.

San Francisco 49ers TE George Kittle (groin) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Sept. 13.

San Francisco 49ers TE George Kittle (groin) made three receptions for 19 yards on six targets in Week 1 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Huddle Up: The good news is that Kittle was active after carrying a questionable tag following a week of limited practices. The bad news is that he had just a handful more points than his fantasy managers did sitting in front of the computer. Kittle is still a must-start fantasy option in Week 2 against the Los Angeles Rams, but he is a risky play after this egg laying in the Steel City.

San Francisco 49ers RB Christian McCaffrey rushed 22 times for 152 yards and a touchdown in Week 1 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, while adding three grabs for 17 yards on five targets.
Huddle Up: Fantasy managers who nabbed CMC early in Round 1 on draft day got what they paid for. McCaffrey had a giant stat line, and he'll look to keep up the good work in Week 2 in another road game against the Los Angeles Rams.
