Philadelphia Eagles QB Cody Kessler (concussion) is at practice Monday, Aug. 19, while wearing a uniform.
Huddle Up: Kessler now needs to compete with veteran Josh McCown to be the primary backup to Carson Wentz under center. Either one would likely have a moderate amount of fantasy appeal in the right match up if Wentz were to miss any more time.

Jacksonville Jaguars QB Cody Kessler went 9-for-17 for 57 yards, zero touchdowns and one interception against the Washington Redskins in Week 15. He also rushed for 68 yards on six carries during the game.
Huddle Up: Kessler has not done much since taking over the starting quarterback job and should be avoided in all fantasy leagues.

Jacksonville Jaguars QB Cody Kessler will remain the starter against the Washington Redskins in Week 15, according to head coach Doug Marrone.
Huddle Up: The Jaguars have scored nine points or less in all three of Kessler's starts, so you will probably want to avoid every member of the Jacksonville offense not named Leonard Fournette as long as he is under center.

Jacksonville Jaguars QB Cody Kessler went 25-for-43 for 240 yards and a touchdown in a Week 14 loss to the Tennessee Titans. Kessler gained 17 yards on five carries and also lost a fumble.
Huddle Up: In three games with Kessler as the starter, the Jags have scored 7, 6 and 9 points, respectively. That's Kyle Boller territory. If he ended up on your roster for some reason, cut him, then cut him again just to be sure.

Jacksonville Jaguars QB Cody Kessler went 18-for-24 for 150 yards against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 13. He also rushed for 28 yards on five carries during the game.
Huddle Up: Kessler was not asked to do much in the game against the Colts and probably will not post big passing numbers moving forward. He should be avoided in all fantasy leagues.

Jacksonvile Jaguars QB Cody Kessler (head) was evaluated for a concussion in the first quarter of their Week 13 game Sunday, Dec. 2, but was cleared to return.
Huddle Up: Kessler is making his first start of the season for the benched Blake Bortles and completed 3-of-5 passes for 16 yards to start the game.

Cleveland Browns QB DeShone Kizer (head) left the team's Week 12 game early and is being evaluated for a concussion. QB Cody Kessler has taken over as the quarterback.
Huddle Up: Owners will need to monitor the situation to see if Kizer will be able to return to the game. He would have to be cleared before he plays again if he suffers a concussion. Owners in fantasy leagues should avoid all Browns quarterbacks.

Cleveland Browns QB Cody Kessler completed 10 of his 19 pass attempts for 121 yards, no touchdowns and one interception in relief of QB DeShone Kizer in Week 7 against the Tennessee Titans.
Huddle Up: Kizer was given the hook after a pair of interceptions, but Kessler didn't really do anything to lead the team. As usual, the Cleveland quarterback situation is a mess and should be avoided for fantasy purposes.

Cleveland Browns QB Cody Kessler was a perfect 7-for-7 on his pass attempts for 60 yards in the team's second preseason contest Monday, August 21, against the New York Giants. He also rushed two times for six yards.
Huddle Up: Brock Osweiler has mostly floundered through his first two preseason efforts, which might open up the door for Kessler to retake the reins as Cleveland's starting quarterback if this continues. With some solid talent around him, the sophomore signal-caller could carve out some QB2 value, though he wouldn't be a recommended option at the onset of the campaign.

Cleveland Browns QB Cody Kessler could begin the season as the starter, but he doesn't fit the mold head coach Hue Jackson likes as a starting quarterback, according to beat writer Mary Kat Cabot. Jackson likes a tall, mobile quarterback with a big arm and quick decision-making skills. Kessler falls below Jackson's 6-foot-2 threshold and doesn't have the deep-ball skills Jackson covets.
Huddle Up: Kessler will have to hold off DeShone Kizer in camp, and it's possible he could beat out the rookie. Kessler has improved his arm strength this offseason. However, Kessler doesn't have a lot of fantasy appeal except in deeper two-QB leagues.
