Tennessee Titans TE Jonnu Smith (knee) has been diagnosed with a medial collateral ligament injury and will miss the remainder of the season, according to a source.
Huddle Up: It's another tough blow for an offense that lost stalwart Delanie Walker in the season opener. Anthony Firkser has emerged in recent weeks, however, and could be a decent low-end option for desperate owners in upcoming matchups against the New York Giants and Washington Redskins to finish out the fantasy playoffs.

Tennessee Titans TE Jonnu Smith had team highs with six receptions, 44 yards and eight targets in the Week 11 game against the Indianapolis Colts.
Huddle Up: Smith was busy on the short routes, helping out Blaine Gabbert in the second half with Marcus Mariota forced out of the game. He has some low-end TE1 or TE2 fantasy ability, as he continues to see an expanded role in the offense.

Tennessee Titans TE Jonnu Smith posted three catches for 45 yards and a touchdown in Week 10 against the New England Patriots.
Huddle Up: Smith is slowly starting to emerge as a useful target in deeper fantasy leagues. He has scored in back-to-back weeks, picking up the pace trying to fill the void with Delanie Walker out for the season. He is still only worth a look as a TE2 at this point, but he could make his way into low-end TE1 territory by season's end. The Titans travel to face the Colts in Week 11.

Tennessee Titans TE Jonnu Smith registered two catches for 33 yards and a touchdown in the Week 9 game against the Dallas Cowboys on Monday, Nov. 5.
Huddle Up: Smith is more of a pass-catching tight end and Luke Stocker is a blocking tight end. If you're desperate for a tight end in fantasy football while your primary option is hurt or on a bye, Smith can be a decent short-term solution. The Titans host the Patriots in Week 10.

Tennessee Titans TE Jonnu Smith did not have a reception or a target in Week 2 against the Houston Texans.
Huddle Up: It was expected Smith might see a larger role with Delanie Walker done for the season after a Week 1 injury, but it was Luke Stocker who saw more work instead. Smith has some long-term fantasy appeal, as he is a good athletic receiver, but he probably needs Marcus Mariota back to make him effective.

Tennessee Titans TE Jonnu Smith (knee) suffered a torn medial collateral ligament in his knee in the AFC Divisional Round playoff loss against the New England Patriots on Saturday, Jan. 13. He is expected to be recovered in six weeks.
Huddle Up: Smith could potentially see a larger role in 2018 depending on if Delanie Walker returns to Nashville. There is no reason to believe Walker won't be back, but if Smith elevates to the top of the depth chart he'd have some fantasy value going into the new season.

Tennessee Titans TE Jonnu Smith racked up two receptions for 22 yards in Week 7 against the Cleveland Browns.
Huddle Up: Smith has plenty of upside, but he will take a backseat as long as Delanie Walker is healthy. The veteran Walker left the game in overtime with an apparent lower leg or ankle injury, so if he misses time then Smith is a name to remember. However, Walker has two weeks to mend with a bye on tap.

Tennessee Titans TE Jonnu Smith posted two receptions for 30 yards and a touchdown in Week 2 at Jacksonville.
Huddle Up: The former standout at Florida International University was seeing added playing time with the game out of hand. He showed he has some upside and potential and is a name to remember should Delanie Walker go down at some point during the season.

Tennessee Titans TE Jonnu Smith really stood out during OTAs Wednesday, May 31, and has had a solid second week of practice, according to head coach Mike Mularkey.
Huddle Up: Smith has the skills to become the heir apparent to Delanie Walker at the tight end spot, and while he probably won't contribute much this season, he is definitely worth stashing in dynasty formats.

Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker said he expects TE Jonnu Smith
to be a sponge and believes Smith will have an opportunity to
contribute and play.
Huddle Up: Smith's athleticism could allow him to become a productive weapon
in the passing game one day, so he is a stash candidate in
dynasty formats. For now, Walker is the tight end to own in most
leagues, and he is a top-10 fantasy option at his position.
