New England Patriots TE Jonnu Smith is in the middle of a 'foundational year' with the team, according to offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels. 'There's a lot of different things you have to do well,' McDaniels said. 'Jonnu's tried really hard to do all the things we've asked him to do.'
Huddle Up: Smith is sitting on just 22 catches for 210 yards and a touchdown in his first season with the Patriots, and he has just hasn't carved out a steady role.
