Cincinnati Bengals WR Auden Tate's agent publicly voiced displeasure with the team when he was inactive in Week 2 against the Cleveland Browns, but head coach Zac Taylor praised the receiver on Wednesday, Sept. 23. 'Audie's the man,' Taylor said. 'Auden is all about this team. He approaches things the right way and you hate that he's put in a tough position like that, because all he does is respond the right way and is a total team player.'
Huddle Up: Tate was active in the first game against the Los Angeles Chargers and he was not targeted. He has veterans A.J. Green, Tyler Boyd and John Ross ahead of him, as well as rookie Tee Higgins. Tate is battling Alex Erickson and Mike Thomas for a role. At this point he has absolutely no fantasy appeal.

Cincinnati Bengals WR Auden Tate's agent says the wide receiver could seek a trade following his limited role (15 snaps in Week 1, healthy scratch in Week 2) in the team's first two games.
Huddle Up: Tate, who had 40 catches for 575 yards and a TD a year ago and reportedly impressed in training camp, has clearly fallen out of the picture in Cincy with A.J. Green's return and the second-round selection of wideout Tee Higgins. A trade certainly isn't out of the question, but it's going to take a big move to get Tate back on fantasy radar screens.

Cincinnati Bengals WR Auden Tate has 'owned this training camp' - along with QB Joe Burrow - according to offensive coordinator Brian Callahan.

Cincinnati Bengals WR Auden Tate has impressed head coach Zac Taylor for having a 'great grasp for what we're trying to do on offense.'
Huddle Up: Tate figures to be behind A.J. Green, Tyler Boyd and rookie Tee Higgins on the depth chart. The Bengals are likely to need to throw often in 2020, but rookie QB Joe Burrow will struggle to make multiple fantasy-relevant receivers in his first year. Tate won't be an option unless someone ahead of him on the depth chart were to miss time.

Cincinnati Bengals WR Auden Tate (knee) has been cleared to resume all football-related activities, according to a source.
Huddle Up: Tate posted 575 yards and one touchdown in 12 games this past season and likely will serve as the No. 3 receiver for the Bengals if A.J. Green returns. He can be considered a late round option in fantasy drafts.

Cincinnati Bengals WR Auden Tate (knee) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list with a sprained left medial collateral ligament Tuesday, Dec. 10. WR Damion Willis was elevated from the practice squad to replace him on the roster.
Huddle Up: Tate's emergence was probably the best thing to happen to the Bengals in an otherwise lost season. Assuming A.J. Green re-signs with the team in the offseason, Tate will probably push John Ross for the other starting outside job while Tyler Boyd remains the main slot receiver. Tate, who finishes this season with 40 catches for 575 yards and a touchdown, should be considered a solid late-round flier next summer in fantasy drafts.

Updating a previous report, Cincinnati Bengals WR Auden Tate (knee) was diagnosed with a sprained medial collateral ligament in his left knee after an MRI on Monday, Dec.9, showed no structural damage, according to ESPN's Ben Baby.
Huddle Up: It most likely means he's out for Week 15 and perhaps the rest of the season. Owners can wait for further confirmation if they want, but he can be dropped in most leagues. Alex Erickson figures to see a few more snaps and targets in his absence, although it's unlikely he'll be worth using in fantasy the rest of the way.

Cincinnati Bengals WR Auden Tate (knee) suffered a knee injury during the Week 14 game and is considered doubtful to return.
Huddle Up: Fantasy players will need to keep an eye on the situation to see the severity of Tate's injury. Tyler Boyd is the only Bengals receivers that should be a starting option in fantasy leagues if Tate misses an extended period of time.

Cincinnati Bengals WR Auden Tate finished with four receptions for a team-high 66 yards in Week 13 against the New York Jets on seven targets.
Huddle Up: Tate was able to bounce back after his one-catch performance last week against the Steelers. While his 66 yards were his most since Oct. 13 in Baltimore when he had a season-high 91 yards, he remains more of a WR6 in most fantasy leagues. He hasn't scored in seven games since Oct. 6 against Arizona.

Cincinnati Bengals WR Auden Tate had one grab for 10 yards in Week 12 against the Pittsburgh Steelers on three targets.
Huddle Up: Tate was coming back from a concussion and a cervical strain, so it was miraculous he was able to play at all. Still, he is only worth a look in the very deepest of fantasy formats at this point. The Bengals host the Jets in Week 13.
