Atlanta Falcons WR Russell Gage Jr. was targeted two times during the Week 1 game against the Philadelphia Eagles but finished the game with zero receptions.
Huddle Up: Gage was expected to have a bigger role in the offense after Julio Jones left but was unable to catch any passes in the opener. He will see a handful of targets each week but can be avoided most weeks.

Atlanta Falcons WR Russell Gage Jr. has 'grown his game' and will play more than just the slot, according to head coach Arthur Smith. 'So we envision Russ playing multiple spots,' Smith said.
Huddle Up: With the trade of Julio Jones, Gage has a golden opportunity to emerge as the No. 2 receiver behind Calvin Ridley. Consider him a WR4 with upside.

Atlanta Falcons WR Russell Gage Jr. caught four passes for 23 yards against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 16. He was targeted five times during the game.
Huddle Up: Gage was one of the starting receivers with Julio Jones out but struggled against the Chiefs. He will see some targets next week but can be benched if fantasy players have better options available.

Atlanta Falcons WR Russell Gage Jr. was good for five receptions and 68 yards with one touchdown on 10 targets in Week 15 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Huddle Up: Gage was the second option in the pass game behind Calvin Ridley, stepping up with Julio Jones out of commission. Gage might be worth a look as a WR5 or flex fantasy option in leagues of 12 or more teams heading into Week 16 at Kansas City.

Atlanta Falcons WR Russell Gage Jr. caught five passes for 82 yards against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, Dec. 13.
Huddle Up: At full strength Gage is a solid third receiver for Atlanta, but when Jones is out he moves up the food chain and becomes a playable option as a fringe WR3 of flex option for fantasy owners. Keep an eye on Jones' health if you're considering slotting Gage into your lineup in Week 15.

Atlanta Falcons WR Russell Gage Jr. caught four passes for 51 yards and one touchdown against the New Orleans Saints in Week 13. He was targeted eight times during the game.
Huddle Up: Gage has been targeted at least five times in five of the last six games but has been held to under 60 yards in all six of those games. He likely will receive a similar workload next week and could be a flex option in some deeper leagues.

Atlanta Falcons WR Russell Gage Jr. posted seven receptions for 58 yards on 12 targets in Week 10 against the New Orleans Saints.
Huddle Up: It's hard to 'gauge' the fantasy value of Gage. One week he has a high volume of grabs, then the next week he disappears. This was his highest catch total since Week 1 when he had his only 100-yard game.

Atlanta Falcons WR Russell Gage Jr. posted just two grabs for 11 yards on six targets in Week 9 against the Denver Broncos.
Huddle Up: Gage was expected to benefit from more work with Calvin Ridley inactive, but it was Olamide Zaccheaus stepping up and picking up the slack instead. The Falcons are off in Week 10.

Atlanta Falcons WR Russell Gage Jr. (knee, shoulder) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 6, and is not on the injury report for Week 9.
Huddle Up: Gage could join the starting lineup this week if Calvin Ridley is not able to play in Week 9. He has a chance to be a No. 3 receiver or flex option in fantasy leagues if Ridley is ruled out.
