New York Jets TE Tyler Conklin saw a majority of the first-team reps during minicamp and "might be separating himself as the lead dog" at the tight end position, according to Connor Hughes of The Athletic.

Updating a previous report, New York Jets TE Tyler Conklin received a three-year, $21 million deal.

Free-agent TE Tyler Conklin (Vikings) agreed to terms with the New York Jets Wednesday, March 16, according to sources. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.
Huddle Up: The Jets added C.J. Uzomah this offseason, but Conklin should also be involved in the passing game in 2022. He probably should be considered a No. 2 tight end in fantasy leagues.

Minnesota Vikings impending free-agent TE Tyler Conklin said he is interested in re-signing with the Vikings, but the team has not made an offer at this point.
Huddle Up: Conklin should receive interest from teams and may be able to find a starting job. He posted decent numbers this past season and could be a low-end No. 1 tight end in some leagues depending on his situation.

Minnesota Vikings TE Tyler Conklin (hamstring) had five receptions for 47 yards in Week 17 against the Green Bay Packers.
Huddle Up: As a big target, Conklin saw a lot of work on the short routes favored by Mannion, hauling in five before getting drilled on a pass that deflected from him to Garrett Bradbury. If he's healthy enough to play in Week 18, Conklin could be a low-end TE1.

Minnesota Vikings TE Tyler Conklin (hamstring) is expected to play in Week 17's game against the Green Bay Packers, according to a source.
Huddle Up: Conklin had been listed as questionable on the injury report after logging one limited practice session and one full session during the week. Even when completely healthy, he should be viewed as nothing more than a low-end TE2 option in fantasy leagues.

Minnesota Vikings TE Tyler Conklin posted four grabs for 44 yards on five targets in Week 16 against the Los Angeles Rams.
Huddle Up: The catch total was nice, and the yardage total was OK, but he has been held out of the end zone for six straight games. He remains nothing more than a low-end TE2 in fantasy leagues going into Week 17 at Green Bay.

Minnesota Vikings Tyler Conklin caught seven of nine targets for 56 yards in Week 13 at the Detroit Lions on Sunday, Dec. 5.
Huddle Up: The Steelers entered Week 13 as the ninth-easiest defense to face for catching passes and racking up yardage as a TE in the previous five games, only to also be the toughest team to score against. Conklin is a PPR-only TE1 gamble with a much sturdier floor if WR Adam Thielen (ankle) doesn't play.

Minnesota Vikings TE Tyler Conklin had three receptions, 11 yards and two touchdowns against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, Nov. 14.
Huddle Up: Yardage wise it was a season low for Conklin, but after scoring just once all year he made a pair of end zone visits on Sunday. While Jefferson and Thielen remain the only airtight plays in the Vikings passing game, Conklin has emerged as a reasonable low-end TE1 at this point.

Minnesota Vikings TE Tyler Conklin hauled in three of his five targets for 11 yards and two touchdowns in Week 10 against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Huddle Up: Conklin had emerged as a reliable fantasy option recently because Kirk Cousins fed him seven targets in each of the previous two games. The 26-year-old tight end traded a bit of volume for a better location of those targets in this one, notching a pair of scores in the red zone after posting only one TD across his first eight games. Conklin figures to be a roll-of-the-dice, low-end TE1 play in Week 11 against a stingy Green Bay Packers defense.
