Free-agent DT Jalyn Holmes (Jets) signed a contract to return to the New York Jets on Tuesday, March 26. Terms of the deal were not immediately disclosed.

New York Jets QB Zach Wilson (concussion) did not practice all week and has been ruled out for Week 16 versus the Washington Commanders. QB Aaron Rodgers (Achilles) was upgraded to a limited practice on Friday, Dec. 22, but has also been ruled out. OT Duane Brown (back) and DL John Franklin-Myers (hip) did not practice on Friday and are listed as questionable. RB Israel Abanikanda (ankle) and DB Jordan Whitehead (knee) were limited in practice on Friday and are also listed as questionable. OL Mekhi Becton (knee, shoulder), WR Jason Brownlee (ankle), DL Jalyn Holmes (elbow), OL Max Mitchell (neck), DL Solomon Thomas (knee), OL Joe Tippmann (shoulder), OL Carter Warren (hip) and LB Quincy Williams (knee) practiced in full on Friday and no longer appear on the injury report.

New York Jets practice squad DE Jalyn Holmes was signed to the 53-man roster Wednesday, Dec. 20. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.

In addition, the team placed CB Jarrick Bernard-Converse (foot) on the Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform list and placed CB Brandin Echols on the Reserve/Suspended list.

Free-agent DE Jalyn Holmes (Bears) signed with the New York Jets Monday, Aug. 14. Terms of the contract were not disclosed. The team also placed DE Ifeadi Odenigbo (undisclosed) on the Reserve/Injured list.
