Free-agent WR Byron Pringle (Chiefs) agreed to terms on a one-year contract with the Chicago Bears Thursday, March 17, worth $6 million, according to a source.
Huddle Up: Pringle has a chance to be the No. 2 or No. 3 receiver for the Bears depending on what the team does at the position this offseason. He posted decent numbers in limited time with the Chiefs and could be a late round pick in some fantasy leagues.

Kansas City Chiefs WR Byron Pringle has recorded five or more receptions in four of his last five games, including both playoff games, after reaching that total just once in his first 13 games this season.
Huddle Up: Not only has Pringle been more productive recently, but he has been more involved in the offense. After failing to log more than six targets in his first 13 games, he has logged at least seven targets in four of his last five games. Pringle could make a solid sleeper in playoff fantasy contests.

Kansas City Chiefs WR Byron Pringle caught three of four targets for 35 yards at the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 17 on Sunday, Jan. 2.
Huddle Up: In Week 18, Pringle heads to Denver for a tough matchup, but he has a hint of utility given all of the attention the Broncos will pay to slow WR Tyreek Hill and TE Travis Kelce. He's best left for DFS contests, however, especially after securing only one of his four Week 13 targets vs. Denver.

Kansas City Chiefs WR Byron Pringle caught six of his seven targets for 75 yards and two touchdowns in a 36-10 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 16.
Huddle Up: With Travis Kelce out of action, Pringle stepped up to lead the passing attack. The Chiefs have been looking for someone to step up behind Kelce and Tyreek Hill, and it will be worth watching to see if Pringle can build on this performance.

Kansas City Chiefs WR Byron Pringle hauled in four of his five targets for 46 yards and a touchdown in Week 10 against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Huddle Up: Pringle has not consistently stepped up as the second receiver in this offense, but he is doing more with his opportunities than the wideout Kansas City hoped would assume that role (Mecole Hardman). While it seems unlikely either one will evolve into that player anytime soon, Pringle appears to be the better dart throw for fantasy purposes. With a likely shootout on deck against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 11, the Kansas State product could be worth using in deep leagues.

Kansas City Chiefs WR Byron Pringle racked up five receptions for a team-high 73 yards on six targets in Week 7 against the Tennessee Titans.
Huddle Up: Pringle led the way for the Chiefs in a day which was absolutely awful, totaling just three points. Despite the decent stat line, Pringle isn't someone to bother with in most fantasy leagues. The Chiefs host the Giants in Week 8 on Monday night.
