Free-agent DE Calais Campbell (Falcons) is a player the Atlanta Falcons are open to re-signing this offseason, according to general manager Terry Fontenot.

Free-agent DL Calais Campbell (Falcons) has spoken with Atlanta Falcons head coach Raheem Morris, and Morris said he is hoping Campbell decides to re-sign with the Falcons.

Atlanta Falcons DB DeMarcco Hellams (concussion) and C Drew Dalman (ankle) did not practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 18 against the New Orleans Saints. LB Troy Andersen (pectoral) was limited in practice all week and has also been ruled out. QB Taylor Heinicke (ankle) and DE Zach Harrison (knee) were limited in practice all week and are listed as questionable. CB Mike Hughes (concussion) was upgraded to full practice on Friday, Jan. 5, but is also listed as questionable. RB Cordarrelle Patterson (rest) and DE Calais Campbell (rest) practiced in full on Friday and are expected to be available.

Atlanta Falcons C Drew Dalman (ankle) and S Demarcco Hellams (concussion) did not practice on Thursday, Jan. 4. Also, CB Mike Hughes (concussion), LB Troy Andersen (pectoral), DE Zach Harrison (knee) and QB Taylor Heinicke (ankle) were limited and DE Calais Campbell (rest) and RB Cordarrelle Patterson (rest) practiced in full and were removed from the injury report.

DE Calais Campbell (rest, illness), C Drew Dalman (ankle), OG Chris Lindstrom (ankle), OT Jake Matthews (knee) and FB Keith Smith (ankle) practiced in full on Friday and no longer appear on the injury report. RB Cordarrelle Patterson (rest) was not given a practice designation for a second straight day on Friday but is also expected to be active.
