The New York Giants are expected to pursue high-end cornerback options when free agency opens, according to multiple sources. They have already shown interest in New York Jets CB D.J. Reed and Minnesota Vikings CB Byron Murphy and may consider going after San Francisco 49ers CB Charvarius Ward and New Orleans Saints CB Paulson Adebo as well. In addition, CB Jaire Alexander could be another option if the Green Bay Packers cut ties with him.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are expected to target the cornerback position early in free agency, and there's a sense of urgency within the organization about addressing the position to open up the defensive playbook, according to a source. Pittsburgh, according to sources, is expected to pursue CB Nate Hobbs (Raiders), who has a connection to the Steelers in defensive backs coach Gerald Alexander. CBs Charvarius Ward (49ers), D.J. Reed (Jets), and CB Carlton Davis (Lions) were discussed as possible options. CB Donte Jackson (Steelers) also could return to the team.

DT Quinnen Williams (hamstring) did not practice and is listed as questionable. DT Leki Fotu (knee) and OG Alijah Vera-Tucker (ankle) fully participated in practice but are listed as questionable. CB Brandin Echols (shoulder), OT Morgan Moses (knee), OG Xavier Newman (groin), CB D.J. Reed (groin) and LB Quincy Williams (knee) fully participated in practice and are not on the injury report.
