Chicago Bears QB Mitchell Trubisky (hip) suffered a right hip pointer when he was sacked at the end of the second quarter in Week 11 against the Los Angeles Rams, according to head coach Matt Nagy. Trubisky was pulled from the game late in favor of Chase Daniel, but Nagy insisted the move was made due to the injury.
'Every decision that was made, it had zero to do with his play. It was completely based off his injury and where he was at,' Nagy said.
Huddle Up: Trubisky was not particularly good again in Week 11 even before the injury. His play across the board has deteriorated from last year, and one of the biggest differences in his game in 2019 is how little he has scrambled (and how ineffective he has been at doing it). Trubisky has two good upcoming matchups against the New York Giants and Detroit Lions, but it will be difficult for owners to start him in fantasy at any point the rest of the way.

Chicago Bears QB Chase Daniel completed 22-of-30 passes for 231 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions in Week 5 against the Oakland Raiders in London.
Huddle Up: Daniel jelled particularly nicely with Allen Robinson (7-97-2) in place of Mitchell Trubisky (shoulder). It might be the last time we see him for a while, though, as the regular starter gets two weeks to rest with a bye coming up.

Chicago Bears QB Chase Daniel is expected to make the start in Week 5 against the Oakland Raiders in London, as head coach Matt Nagy said QB Mitchell Trubisky (shoulder) is 'likely missing this game.'
Huddle Up: Daniel completed 22-of-30 passes for 195 yards, a touchdown and no interceptions against the Vikings in Week 4 after coming on for the injured Trubisky. However, Daniel is only worth a look in deeper fantasy leagues using two signal callers for Week 5.

Chicago Bears QB Chase Daniel completed 22 of 30 passes for 195 yards and a touchdown in relief of QB Mitchell Trubisky (shoulder) on Sunday, Sept. 29, against the Minnesota Vikings.
Huddle Up: At this point there's no timeline for Trubisky, but the team does not believe he's lost for the season. Until he returns, Daniel is set to run the show, a job he looked more than capable of against a tough Vikings defense on Sunday. Odds are you'll see a continued focus on running the ball and short passes, a combo that should keep Chicago in games and keep Daniel from becoming an attractive fantasy performer. Stay away.

Chicago Bears QB Chase Daniel could be released this offseason since the team would save $3 million in salary cap space.

Chicago Bears QB Chase Daniel is likely to start in Week 13 against the New York Giants.
Huddle Up: Daniel isn't a great start, even in two-QB leagues. The Giants aren't a great matchup, and with bye weeks in the rearview, Daniel doesn't have much roster viability.

Chicago Bears QB Chase Daniel went 27-for-37 for 230 yards and two touchdowns against the Detroit Lions in Week 12.
Huddle Up: Daniel received the start because Mitchell Trubisky was ruled out, but Trubisky is expected to return in Week 13. Owners should monitor the situation next week to see which quarterback will start. The Bears have a favorable matchup next week, so owners could consider starting the Bears quarterback.

Chicago Bears QB Chase Daniel is officially starting Thursday, Nov. 22.
Huddle Up: Daniel has no fantasy prowess today except in two-QB leagues.

Chicago Bears QB Chase Daniel is likely to start in place of QB Mitchell Trubisky (shoulder) Thursday, Nov. 22, against the Detroit Lions.
Huddle Up: Daniel has no fantasy relevance outside of desperate measures in two-QB leagues.
