Denver Broncos QB Bo Nix will not play in the team's final preseason game versus the Arizona Cardinals Sunday, Aug. 25, according to head coach Sean Payton. QB Jarrett Stidham will receive the starting nod but QB Zach Wilson will see the bulk of the playing time.
Huddle Up: Nix was officially declared the Broncos' No. 1 quarterback by the team earlier this week. He can be viewed as a midrange QB2 option in redraft fantasy leagues.

Even if he doesn't start immediately, the first-round draft choice is considered to be the franchise's quarterback of the future.
