Washington Redskins TEs Jeremy Sprinkle and Matt Flanagan could see another heavy workload at tight end in Week 17 against the Philadelphia Eagles with TE Jordan Reed on the Reserve/Injured list and TE Vernon Davis (concussion) doubtful to play.
Huddle Up: Sprinkle has five grabs for 41 yards and a touchdown on six targets over the past two games. If you're playing DFS, Sprinkle might be worth a look at a low-cost salary for a potential score. In championship games in seasonal play, however, he isn't worth the roster spot.

Washington Redskins TE Vernon Davis (concussion) is doubtful to play in Week 17, head coach Jay Gruden said Friday, Dec. 28.
Huddle Up: It looks like Davis will miss his second straight game, and with fellow TE Jordan Reed on IR, Jeremy Sprinkle is likely to be Washington's top tight end Sunday. Stay away unless you're beyond desperate.

Washington Redskins TE Vernon Davis (concussion) was limited in practice for the second straight day Thursday, Dec. 27.
Huddle Up: It looks like Davis will be able to return to action in Sunday's season finale opposite the Eagles -- and he'll be sorely needed with Jordan Reed (ankle, foot) going on IR. Given the veteran's inconsistencies this season, though, he'll be a dicey play for Week 17 and is probably better suited as a TE2.

Washington Redskins TE Vernon Davis (concussion) was limited at practice Wednesday, Dec. 26.
Huddle Up: Davis missed the club's Week 16 affair but it appears he has an outside shot of suiting up in the finale. He'll especially be needed with Jordan Reed (ankle, foot) likely out. Even so, he's not a recommended TE1 play.

Washington Redskins TE Vernon Davis (concussion) was downgraded to out on Friday, Dec. 21, and will miss the team's Week 16 game with the Tennessee Titans.
Huddle Up: Like most of Washington's skill players, Davis has endured a forgettable 2018, and unless the Skins pull off an upset on Saturday he may have played his final game of the season.

Updating previous items, Washington Redskins TE Vernon Davis (concussion) and WR Josh Doctson (back) are questionable to play in Week 16.
Huddle Up: The only Washington play we can seriously consider starting this week is Adrian Peterson. Stay away from the rest of the Redskins roster.

Washington Redskins TE Vernon Davis (unknown) was not spotted on the field during the open portion of the team's practice Thursday, Dec. 20.
Huddle Up: Davis was not known to be dealing with an injury, and with fellow TE Jordan Reed also sitting out with a foot injury, this is alarming for several reasons, including the fact that this is Washington's last major practice heading into Saturday's game in Tennessee. We will definitely stay tuned ...

Washington Redskins TE Vernon Davis caught two passes for 16 yards against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 15.
Huddle Up: Davis has entered the starting lineup with Jordan Reed sidelined but was not a big factor this week. He has played well at times this season but should not be a starting option in any leagues.

Washington Redskins TE Vernon Davis caught a 53-yard touchdown pass and finished with 73 yards on two receptions in Week 12 against the Dallas Cowboys. He was targeted four times.
Huddle Up: The well-seasoned veteran still has the wheels to take it the distance from anywhere on the field. With a limited role, he's no better than a desperation play in Week 13, and the Philadelphia Eagles have been tough against the position.

Washington Redskins TE Vernon Davis posted three grabs for a team-best 48 yards and a touchdown on his three targets in Week 6 against the Carolina Panthers.
Huddle Up: Jordan Reed made it through the entire game, but Davis factored in with the wideouts banged up. Despite the decent stat line he is still only worth a look in the deepest of fantasy leagues heading into Week 7 against the Dallas Cowboys.
