Huddle Up: Green has been known mostly as a blocking tight end in the past, but he is locked in as the team's No. 1 tight end and expected to see more targets than ever before. However, until he proves he is an effective weapon in the passing game, he should be treated more as a low-end TE2 with some potential.

Denver Broncos TEs A.J. Derby (concussion) and Virgil Green (concussion) did not participate in practice Friday, Dec. 23, and are not expected to play in Week 16 versus the Kansas City Chiefs, according to Denver7's Troy Renck.

Huddle Up: Neither likely absence is all that big from an individual fantasy perspective, but the Broncos struggle for offense enough at full strength, so being without their top two tight ends is a boost for the Chiefs' defense/special teams unit. Jeff Heuerman will likely get the start in their place, but he is well off the fantasy radar.

Denver Broncos TE Virgil Green (calf) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Oct. 12, and is not on the injury report for Week 6.

Huddle Up: Green will be returning after missing the last few games and should be in the starting lineup. He has recorded 74 yards in his two games played this season, but owners probably can find better options to use in their lineups.

Denver Broncos TE Virgil Green (calf) participated fully in practice Tuesday, Oct. 11.

Huddle Up: Green has been more involved this year when he's been on the field, but it might be best to wait it out with Green in Week 6. He's in TE2 territory even when he's full go.
