The Los Angeles Chargers signed free agent WR Dontrelle Inman (Patriots) Tuesday, Aug. 20, according to a source.
Huddle Up: Inman should quickly rise toward the top of a depth chart led by Keenan Allen, Mike Williams and Travis Benjamin, but lacking real depth. The 30-year-old caught 28 of 39 targets for 304 yards and three touchdowns with the Indianapolis Colts last season. He was with the Chargers organization from 2014 into the 2017 campaign and is familiar with QB Philip Rivers. He could become a fantasy consideration should anyone ahead of him on the depth chart miss time.

Free-agent WR Dontrelle Inman is slated to meet with the Detroit Lions, a source told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Huddle Up: The Lions' receiving corps is pretty thin behind Marvin Jones, Kenny Golladay and Danny Amendola, but Inman is unlikely to be fantasy relevant if he were to sign.

Impending free-agent WR Dontrelle Inman is hopeful about returning to the Indianapolis Colts in 2019 and wants to finish his career with the team. Inman told CBS Sports Radio that 'he doesn't want to go anywhere else' and 'it would feel amazing to finish in Indy.'
Huddle Up: Inman was the clear second option at receiver in Indy behind T.Y. Hilton by the end of the season, but there are a few potential hurdles for him to build on last year's finish. The Colts were smitten with Deon Cain last summer before he got hurt, and the former Clemson standout is a better (and younger talent). Indianapolis also has a ton of cap room to use in free agency and could easily draft a receiver, pushing Inman to third or fourth on the depth chart in the event he is brought back.

Indianapolis Colts WR Dontrelle Inman (shoulder, finger) was limited in practice Thursday, Jan. 10.
Huddle Up: It would have been nice for him to get a full practice in, but he should play nonetheless. He's been an underrate asset for the Colts and deserves flex consideration at worst for those privy to DFS contests.

Indianapolis Colts WR Dontrelle Inman (shoulder, finger) practiced on a limited basis Wednesday, Jan. 9.
Huddle Up: Inman was an unsung hero for the Colts in a dominating win last week. Behind T.Y. Hilton and Eric Ebron he's the third biggest receiving threat in a game in which the scorekeeper should be busy.

Indianapolis Colts WR Dontrelle Inman (shoulder, finger) was absent from practice Tuesday, Jan. 9.
Huddle Up: Inman surprised some last week, posting five catches for 77 yards and a touchdown. He has scored in two straight games now and is a solid DFS start in a potentially high-scoring affair against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Indianapolis Colts WR Dontrelle Inman caught four passes for 53 yards and one touchdown against the Houston Texans in the Wild Card playoff game.
Huddle Up: Inman has caught a touchdown in each of the last three games and has been targeted 15 times during that span. He probably will be part of a high-scoring game next week and can be a flex option in fantasy leagues.

Indianapolis Colts WR Dontrelle Inman (shoulder, finger) is expected to play in the Wild Card game versus the Houston Texans Saturday, Jan. 5, according to a source.
Huddle Up: Inman had been listed as questionable on the injury report after logging three limited practice sessions during the week. He has been a valuable addition to the team since being signed in mid-October and had nine catches for 123 yards and two touchdowns in his last two games of the regular season, making him a viable option for playoff fantasy lineups.

Indianapolis Colts WR Dontrelle Inman (shoulder) on Friday, Dec. 7, was ruled out for Week 14 with a shoulder injury.
Huddle Up: ... just in case you were considering using Inman in a deep-league flex spot. T.Y. Hilton, Chester Rogers, Ryan Grant and Zach Pascal will be Indy's wideouts Sunday in Houston, and Hilton -- assuming he plays -- is only one usable in the majority of leagues,

Indianapolis Colts WR Dontrelle Inman posted four receptions for 34 yards and a touchdown on six targets in the Week 11 game against the Tennessee Titans.
Huddle Up: Inman scored his first touchdown in a Colts uniform, and it was his first time in the end zone since Dec. 3, 2017 against the San Francisco 49ers when he was a member of the Chicago Bears. The touchdown is nice, but he only warrant fantasy usage in the very deepest of leagues heading into Week 12 against the Miami Dolphins.
