Washington Football Team QB Ryan Fitzpatrick will open training camp as the starting quarterback but will have to compete for the job during the preseason, according to head coach Ron Rivera.
Huddle Up: Fitzpatrick should be the clear favorite for the job because of his experience and will have solid group of pass catchers in the offense. He can be a No. 2 quarterback in fantasy leagues if he wins the job.

Impending free-agent QB Ryan Fitzpatrick (Dolphins) reportedly agreed to terms to a one-year contract worth $10 million that could be worth as much as $12 million with incentives with the Washington Football Team on Monday, March 15.
Huddle Up: There weren't many places for free-agent quarterbacks in search of a starting job this offseason, but Washington was one of them. While Taylor Heinicke was impressive in the Football Team's playoff loss, it just wasn't enough of a sample size for Washington to feel good about possibly relying on him as a starter. Washington can be expected to address quarterback in the draft as well, but Fitzpatrick will likely enter camp as the frontrunner to start Week 1.

Miami Dolphins QB and pending free agent Ryan Fitzpatrick's future remains up in the air, but he's still a favorite of Dolphins head coach Brian Flores. 'We'd love to have him back, but this is a very unique year from the cap standpoint,' Flores said. 'Those conversations are fluid.'

Miami Dolphins impending free-agent QB Ryan Fitzpatrick plans to play next season.
Huddle Up: Several teams will be looking for a starting quarterback this offseason, and Fitzpatrick could find a job as a bridge quarterback. He can be considered a No. 2 quarterback in deeper fantasy leagues if he is a starter in 2021.

Miami Dolphins impending free-agent QB Ryan Fitzpatrick is not expected to re-sign with the Dolphins because he believes he can at least compete for a starting job with a team next season, according to sources.
Huddle Up: Fitzpatrick has played well at times over the last few season and may have a chance for a starting job since several teams have uncertain quarterback situations. He would only be a No. 2 fantasy quarterback if he is able to find a job.

Miami Dolphins QB Ryan Fitzpatrick, an unrestricted free agent this offseason, still believes he can bed a successful starter and has spoken recently with the Denver Broncos, according to a report.
Huddle Up: If the Broncos don't swing a blockbuster deal for a Deshaun Watson or Russell Wilson, they likely will bring in a veteran QB to compete with Drew Lock. Fitzpatrick, who will turn 39 in November, certainly fills that bill, and the Broncos likely would become the latest team where Fitzmagic is the most effective option in young/old QB rotation but still has to share the starts.

Miami Dolphins QB Ryan Fitzpatrick's chances of returning to the team next season are 'slim and none,' according to Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald.
Huddle Up: Fitzpatrick has played some of the best ball of his career in Miami, but neither the NFL nor the Dolphins are going to change their opinion about him being anything more than a bridge quarterback, especially after turning 38 years old in November. The Dolphins also would prefer Tua Tagovailoa not having to look over his shoulder, which may be the biggest consideration of all. Look for Fitzpatrick to find yet another employer this offseason.
