Miami Dolphins QB Ryan Fitzpatrick completed 18 of 20 passes for 160 yards and two touchdowns during the team's Week 3 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Fitzpatrick also ran seven times for 38 yards and a score.
Huddle Up: Jacksonville's defense had no answers for Fitzpatrick, whose only two incompletions came on the team's two-minute drive before halftime. If the Jags had been able to keep pace, who knows what kind of numbers Fitzpatrick would've put up. Instead, Miami was in firm control throughout the second half with Fitzpatrick only attempting a handful of passes. He'll enjoy a weekend off before hosting the Seahawks in Week 4.

Miami Dolphins QB Ryan Fitzpatrick completed 31-of-47 passes for 328 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 2 against the Buffalo Bills and he ran for 12 yards.
Huddle Up: Fitz-magic and the Dolphins came up a little short on the scoreboard, but it was an exciting finish, and he really jelled nicely with his tight end, Mike Gesicki (8-130-1). The Dolphins have a quick turnaround with a Thursday road game against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 3.

Miami Dolphins QB Ryan Fitzpatrick went 20-for-30 for 191 yards, zero touchdowns and three interceptions against the New England Patriots in Week 1.
Huddle Up: Fitzpatrick played well at times last season but was not able to duplicate those performances in Week 1. He will be facing another strong defense next week and should only be a possible starting option in two quarterback leagues.

Miami Dolphins QB Ryan Fitzpatrick will start Week 1 against the New England Patriots.
Huddle Up: Tua Tagovailoa and Fitz don't have much single-year value right now except in two-QB leagues. Tua is a decent chip to have in long-term leagues.

Miami Dolphins QB Ryan Fitzpatrick (personal) participated in practice Monday, Aug. 31.
Huddle Up: Fitzpatrick is on track to be the starting quarterback this season and posted some decent numbers in 2019. He should be considered a No. 2 quarterback in fantasy leagues.

Miami Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa is in a competition for the No. 2 quarterback job behind Ryan Fitzpatrick with Josh Rosen, and the 'chances are greater' that Rosen will begin the season in that role unless Tagovailoa 'suddenly starts doing some magical things he hasn't shown yet,' in the opinion of the Miami Herald's Armando Salguero.

Miami Dolphins QB Ryan Fitzpatrick (personal) is out of practice Friday, Aug. 21, and the team wouldn't comment on why he was gone or when he would return.
Huddle Up: The team has until Friday afternoon to place him on the COVID-19 list if that is the cause. Tua Tagovailoa could wind up having as big of an opening to the starter's job as humanly possible. He's a speculative midrange QB2 as a rookie.

Miami Dolphins QB Ryan Fitzpatrick says he fully realizes his time as the team's starter is limited with first-round draft pick Tua Tagovailoa getting a green light for workouts. 'I don't know how much time it will be before Tua will be in the lineup. I know that I am the placeholder,' Fitzpatrick said in a recent interview with ESPN. 'We've already had that conversation. I've told him, 'I'm going to do the best I can to lead this team and win football games when I'm out there.' Whenever it is that Tua gets his chance whether it's early or late or whenever, I'm going to be his biggest cheerleader.'
Huddle Up: While Fitzpatrick was magical at times last season for a woeful team, Tua is the Dolphins' future, and the rookie's biggest threat to early playing time was his lingering injury issues that appear to be clearing up. Right now, we have to bank on the rookie starting more games for Miami this fall.
