New York Jets TE Ryan Griffin finished with three catches for 28 yards and a touchdown in Week 6 against the Dallas Cowboys.
Huddle Up: Griffin had a majority of his action came on one drive in the second quarter and then he was quiet again. The touchdown was nice, but he is still only worth a look as a low-end TE2 in most fantasy leagues heading to Week 7.

New York Jets TE Ryan Griffin was targeted just once with no receptions in Week 2 against the Cleveland Browns on Monday, Sept. 16.
Huddle Up: Griffin was on the field for every snap and he figured to be part of the offense with a backup, and then the third-string, quarterback starting. Usually a less experienced signal caller dumps it off frequently to the benefit of backs and tight ends. Griffin was nearly invisible, and he isn't a recommended fantasy option or DFS play heading into Week 3 in New England.

New York Jets TE Ryan Griffin is the favorite to start at tight end while TE Chris Herndon serves his four-game suspension to start the season. 'He's picked it up extremely fast,' head coach Adam Gase said. 'He rolled out here that first day and it was like he knew the offense. I've been impressed by what he's done.'

Houston Texans TE Ryan Griffin posted five receptions for a season-high 80 yards on his five targets in Week 14 against the Indianapolis Colts.
Huddle Up: Griffin posted his most receiving yardage since Dec. 18, 2016 when he had 85 yards against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He still hasn't found the end zone and remains nothing more than a low-end TE2 in most leagues.

Houston Texans TE Ryan Griffin did not have any receptions on five targets in the Week 6 game against the Buffalo Bills.
Huddle Up: It was an ugly game all around for the Houston offense, and they were bailed out by the defense in the home win. Next up is a trip to Jacksonville in Week 7, so the offense could struggle again.

Houston Texans TE Ryan Griffin was targeted nine times against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 5, catching six for 65 yards.
Huddle Up: After doing nothing for the first month, Griffin trailed only DeAndre Hopkins in targets on Sunday night. For now let's go ahead and treat it as an outlier, but keep an eye on Griffin, as a TE in a pass-happy offense could have some value.

Houston Texans TE Ryan Griffin (concussion) did not participate in practice Thursday, Nov. 9.
Huddle Up: Griffin needs to be cleared before he is allowed to play, so owners will need to monitor the situation. His value has gone down because of the change at quarterback, and he could be kept on the bench this week.

Houston Texans TE Ryan Griffin (concussion) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Nov. 8.
Huddle Up: Griffin will have to pass all of his concussion tests before he is cleared to play, so owners should check on his status later in the week. He has not been much of a factor this season, and owners should be able to find better options in all leagues.
