Pittsburgh Steelers TE Vance McDonald caught three of his six targets for 39 yards in Week 17 against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Huddle Up: At what proved to be another brutal season for the tight end position in fantasy, McDonald finally stayed healthy and posted career-best totals across the board with 50 receptions, 610 yards and four touchdowns. While Jesse James will almost certainly continue to steal snaps from him again in 2019, McDonald figures to be in line to repeat this season's production if he proves he proves this year's durability was not a fluke, making him a low-end TE1 in most fantasy leagues.

Pittsburgh Steelers TE Vance McDonald had just one grab in Week 16 against the New Orleans Saints, but he made it worth it for 49 yards on his four targets.
Huddle Up: McDonald has been dealing with some injuries down the stretch. He can be a legitimate TE1 in fantasy leagues of 12 or more teams when he is 100 percent healthy.

Pittsburgh Steelers TE Vance McDonald finished with two catches for 13 yards and a touchdown on three targets in Week 15 against the New England Patriots.
Huddle Up: McDonald figured to be busy in Week 15 with the Patriots expected to do everything in their power to contain Antonio Brown and JuJu Smith-Schuster, but he was mostly invisible from the game plan after his early touchdown. Nevertheless, his score alone made him worth a start in fantasy. McDonald is unlikely to enjoy the same success in Week 16, however, as the New Orleans Saints have been among the best in the league all season at defending tight ends.

Pittsburgh Steelers TE Vance McDonald caught four passes for 28 yards against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, Dec. 2.

Pittsburgh Steelers TE Vance McDonald (hip) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 30, and is not on the injury report for Week 13.
Huddle Up: McDonald has been targeted at least five times in three of the last four games and has two touchdowns during that span but has been held to under 50 yards in all of those games. He can be considered a low-end No. 1 tight end in deeper leagues but is not a must-start option.

Pittsburgh Steelers TE Vance McDonald (hip) was not able to practice Wednesday, Nov. 28.
Huddle Up: McDonald has an uphill battle to play this week. If he continues to miss practice then have Jesse James primed and ready to go as he would start in McDonald's place.

Pittsburgh Steelers TE Vance McDonald (hip) will be limited early this week with the hamstring injury he suffered in Week 12.
Huddle Up: McDonald has served in an underrated capacity in Pittsburgh's high-flying offense, but if he can't get to full health before game day then look for Jesse James to see more targets.

Pittsburgh Steelers TE Vance McDonald registered three receptions for 27 yards and a touchdown in Week 11 against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Monday, Nov. 18.
Huddle Up: McDonald has racked up three or more catches in five straight outings, and he has found the end zone in two straight. He is a decent low-end TE1 in fantasy leagues of 12 or more teams heading into the Week 12 against the Denver Broncos.

Pittsburgh Steelers TE Vance McDonald caught three passes for 25 yards against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 9.
Huddle Up: McDonald has been targeted at least six times in two of the last three games but has seen a drop in yards in each of those games. He can be owned in most leagues but should be seen as a No. 2 tight end.

Pittsburgh Steelers TE Vance McDonald caught three passes for 47 yards against the Cleveland Browns in Week 8.
Huddle Up: McDonald caught all three of his targets against the Browns but was held to under 50 yards for the second time in three weeks. He has some success against the Baltimore Ravens earlier this season but may only be a low-end No. 1 tight end in deeper leagues next week.
