Detroit Lions exclusive rights free-agent LB Trevor Nowaske signed a new contract with the Lions Thursday, March 13. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.

Detroit Lions LB Jalen Reeves-Maybin (neck) was limited during practice Friday, Dec. 20, but has been ruled out for Week 16. S Brian Branch (calf) and OG Graham Glasgow (knee) were limited during practice and are listed as questionable. S Ifeatu Melifonwu (hand) fully participated in practice but is listed as questionable. OT Taylor Decker (non-injury), LB Trevor Nowaske (concussion), C Frank Ragnow (back), DT D.J. Reader (non-injury), DE Za'Darius Smith (non-injury) and OG Kevin Zeitler (non-injury) fully participated in practice and are not on the injury report.

The team also waived/injured TE Sage Surratt (undisclosed) and placed OL Christian Jones (ankle), RB Tony Jones Jr. (shoulder) and DE Darius Robinson (calf) on the Reserve/Injured list. Christian Jones and Robinson are designated to return later in the season.
