Philadelphia Eagles RB Will Shipley is expected to be the primary pass catcher out of the backfield for the Eagles this upcoming season.

Philadelphia Eagles RB Will Shipley "offers the dynamic qualities that ideally complement (Saquon) Barkley" and "should add a nice flair to a new-look Eagles offense," according to Andrew DiCecco of Inside The Birds.
Huddle Up: DiCecco notes that while pass protection is likely to be the determining factor in regards to his playing time, Shipley should be able to "take his newfound opportunity and run with it" if offseason practices are any indication of what is to come. Shipley, who will be competing with AJ Dillon for backup duties, should be considered the frontrunner to be Barkley's handcuff - an important distinction for fantasy managers since Barkley was used so heavily last season (482 touches, including the postseason). Shipley is well worth drafting in the late rounds given the likelihood he will need to fill in for Barkley in 2025.
