Oakland Raiders TE Clive Walford posted three receptions for 43 yards and a touchdown in the Week 12 game against the Carolina Panthers. He was targeted four times.
Huddle Up: Walford reached the end zone for the first time since Week 2. He has at least two catches in each of his past four games, and is more of a TE2 heading into Week 13 against the Buffalo Bills. His 43 yards were his second-highest total of the season.

Oakland Raiders TE Clive Walford (knee) has been declared inactive for the team's Week 5 game.
Huddle Up: Mychal Rivera likely will receive most of the playing time at tight end against the San Diego Chargers. He has caught only one pass this season and is not a strong option for owners.

Oakland Raiders TE Clive Walford (knee) was limited during practice Friday, Oct. 7, and is listed as questionable for Week 5.
Huddle Up: Walford probably will be able to play this week, but owners should check the inactive list. He has recorded 27 yards or fewer in three of the four games this season and is not a strong fantasy option.

Oakland Raiders TE Clive Walford said he is more comfortable in the offense this year, and offensive coordinator Bill Musgrave said Walford is going to be a 'big part' of what the Raiders do on offense.
Huddle Up: Walford injured his knee in an offseason ATV accident and had yet to practice. With Amari Cooper and Michael Crabtree drawing extra attention on the outside, the athletic tight end should be able to exploit since coverage down the middle of the field. Walford could be one of the steals of the draft if he stays healthy this year. He currently has an ADP in Round 15.

Oakland Raiders TE Clive Walford is not listed as the starting tight end on Raiders' initial depth chart. TE Lee Smith is listed ahead of Walford.
Huddle Up: Despite the early depth chart, Walford remains the tight end deep-league fantasy GMs want as he had 50 targets and 28 receptions last season while Smith, regarded as the team's blocking tight end, had 13 and 12.

Oakland Raiders TE Clive Walford (knee) is expected to be cleared well before the beginning of training camp. He did not participate in organized team activities Tuesday, May 24.
Huddle Up: Bigger things are expected of Walford, and him getting on the field as soon as possible will help in that regard. It will also help fantasy owners put a little more faith in him.

Oakland Raiders TE Clive Walford (knee) suffered a knee injury earlier this offseason in an all-terrain vehicle accident, according to sources. He is expected back for training camp, and one source said the injury may not be as bad as originally thought. It's unclear what his injury was, but indications are that he's weeks removed from surgery.
Huddle Up: Scary news -- particularly after the death of the Ravens' Tray Walker in a dirt-bike accident earlier this offseason -- but it sounds like Walford escaped serious injury. The Raiders really have not made any corresponding moves in free agency or the draft, either, so it appears they are planning to their starting tight end on the field in training camp and the preseason.

Oakland Raiders TE Clive Walford's role is expected to be expanded in 2016.
Huddle Up: As a rookie third-round pick last season, Walford finished second among Oakland tight ends with 28 catches, but did lead the position with 329 yards and three TDs. In any case, the Raiders saw enough that fellow TE Mychal Rivera (32-280-1) is reportedly now on the trading block.

Oakland Raiders TE Clive Walford received a season-high 28 offensive snaps in the team's Week 7 game. Head coach Jack Del Rio said Walford will be more involved as the season goes on.
Huddle Up: The rookie third-round pick only has three receptions on three targets the last two games but has shown a flair for the big play, averaging 25 yards per catch, including his 23-yard scoring reception Sunday in San Diego. He's not getting enough work to be a standard-league starter right now, but he's an intriguing deeper-league option if you need TE help.

Oakland Raiders TE Clive Walford posted two receptions for 42 yards and a touchdown in the Week 7 game against the San Diego Chargers.
Huddle Up: The Raiders continue to talk up Walford, and while 2-42-1 isn't a gaudy stat line it shows he's definitely on David Carr's radar. Consider him a viable bye week plug-in with upside going forward.
