Cleveland Browns TE David Njoku (ankle) practiced in full for the second straight day on Thursday, Oct. 17.
Huddle Up: Death, taxes and David Njoku on the injury report. But the fact that Njoku has logged two full practices suggests he's as healthy as he's been all season. The production has not been there for Njoku, who is typically a TE1. However, with Amari Cooper gone and Njoku seemingly fully healthy, there is hope yet, assuming Deshaun Watson can show some semblance of competence moving forward. Njoku remains on the higher end of the TE2 spectrum, but only because of his past.

Cleveland Browns RB Jerome Ford (hamstring) and S Ronnie Hickman Jr. (ankle) did not practice on Thursday, Oct. 17. Also, S Grant Delpit (concussion), RB D'Onta Foreman (groin), LB Jordan Hicks (elbow, triceps), C Ethan Pocic (knee), DB Juan Thornhill (calf) and CB Denzel Ward (hamstring) were limited and RB Nick Chubb (knee), CB Martin Emerson (rib), DE Myles Garrett (Achilles), RB Nyheim Hines (knee), WR Jerry Jeudy (knee), TE David Njoku (ankle) and OT Jedrick Wills (shoulder, knee) practiced in full.

Cleveland Browns TE David Njoku (ankle) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Oct. 16.
Huddle Up: Njoku is averaging five targets per game but has posted at least 40 yards in only one of his three games this season. He should receive a similar workload this week but may only be a low-end No. 1 tight end in deeper leagues.

Cleveland Browns TE David Njoku caught five passes for 31 yards against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 6. He was targeted seven times during the game.
Huddle Up: Njoku was a big part of the passing game this week but averaged a little over six yards per catch during the game. He should see a similar workload next week and could be a low-end No. 1 tight end in most fantasy leagues.

Cleveland Browns TE David Njoku (knee, ankle) was a limited participant in practice for the second straight day on Friday, Oct. 11, and carries no designation into Week 6.
Huddle Up: Typically a TE1 when a quarterback with a pulse is under center, Njoku gets downgraded to a TE2 with Deshaun Watson as his quarterback. And, seeing as how he's dealing with two injuries and didn't log a full practice during the week, the risk of exiting early is there, also.

Cleveland Browns S Ronnie Hickman (ankle), OT James Hudson (shoulder), S Grant Delpit (concussion) and C Ethan Pocic (knee) did not practice on Friday, Oct. 11, and were ruled out for Week 6. Also, RB Nyheim Hines (knee) and RB Nick Chubb (knee) were limited but have been ruled out, LB Jordan Hicks (elbow, triceps) and CB Denzel Ward (hamstring) were limited and are questionable, LB Mohamoud Diabate (hip) and DT Maurice Hurst (ankle) practiced in full but are questionable, TE David Njoku (knee, ankle) and DE Za'Darius Smith (ankle) were limited but carry no designation, and OT Jack Conklin (hamstring), WR Amari Cooper (rest), RB D'Onta Foreman (ankle), DE Myles Garrett (Achilles), WR Jerry Jeudy (knee), DE Ogbo Okoronkwo (illness), RB Pierre Strong (hamstring), OT Jedrick Wills (knee) and OG Zak Zinter (knee) practiced in full and were removed from the injury report.

Cleveland Browns TE David Njoku (ankle, knee) was limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 10.
Huddle Up: Njoku appears to be questionable for the Week 6 game, so fantasy players will need to check on his status after the last practice of the week. He is a weekly starting option when healthy, but fantasy players will need a backup plan ready in case he sits out.

Cleveland Browns TE David Njoku (knee) did not practice on Wednesday, Oct. 9.
Huddle Up: Njoku turned in two limited sessions last week before he finally suited up following a three-game absence. It's possible the Browns are just managing his practice reps, but we'll know more in the days ahead. Njoku had a decent showing in his first game back, tallying four catches for 44 yards. Typically a TE1, Njoku is more of a TE2 these days thanks to Deshaun Watson being terrible at his job.

Cleveland Browns TE David Njoku (knee) played only 26 of 62 snaps before leaving the game early in Week 5 versus the Washington Commanders.
Huddle Up: Njoku, who was making his return from the high-ankle sprain he suffered in Week 1, did not return to the game. No announcement regarding how much time he is expected to miss has been made yet, but it is not a great sign that the team worked out several tight ends on Tuesday. Fantasy managers should expect to be without his services for at least Week 6 against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Cleveland Browns TE David Njoku ended up with a 14-yard reception on his only touch with three targets in Week 5 against the Washington Commanders.
Huddle Up: Njoku was back for the first time since Week 1, but he was a little bit rusty. When he is up to speed, Njoku is a solid TE1 in most fantasy formats. We'll see if he looks a little more comfortable in Week 6 in Philadelphia.
