San Francisco 49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk's 685 receiving yards from Week 9 on last season ranked eighth in the NFL.
Huddle Up: Aiyuk finished 2021 on a high note after barely being used in the first half of the season, and he has been taking steps to make sure the success continues, working out with Trey Lance this offseason. With all the drama surrounding Deebo Samuel's contract and the injury history of George Kittle, Aiyuk is a WR3 candidate with a ton of upside.

San Francisco 49ers QB Trey Lance and WR Brandon Aiyuk will work out together, including throwing and catching, in Southern California over the upcoming summer.
Huddle Up: Lance is the presumed 2022 season starter with QB Jimmy Garoppolo unlikely to be shipped elsewhere in the offseason. The 2021 rookie passer getting comfortable with one of his top targets is an encouraging revelation, but as long as WR Deebo Samuel is healthy, Aiyuk will take a back seat in fantasy football hierarchy. Lance is a fringe QB1 candidate, and Aiyuk nets out somewhere in the WR3 range for most scoring formats.

San Francisco 49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk caught four of his six targets for a team-high 94 yards in a 23-7 win over the Houston Texans in Week 17.
Huddle Up: While it is encouraging to see Aiyuk shine with Trey Lance under center, Deebo Samuel remains the safest San Francisco receiver for fantasy purposes.

San Francisco 49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk had four receptions for 40 yards and a touchdown in a Week 16 loss to the Tennessee Titans.
Huddle Up: While Aiyuk certainly hasn't had the breakout season many were anticipating, he at least has rallied from a dismal start to become a viable WR3/flex play over the past couple of months. On Thursday night he reeled in four of the five balls Jimmy G sent his way, including the game-tying touchdown with just over two minutes left. He'll operate in the shadow of Samuel and Kittle most weeks, but he can still be deployed as needed.

San Francisco 49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk caught one of his two targets for 36 yards in a 31-13 win over the Atlanta Falcons in Week 15.
Huddle Up: Aiyuk's final line left a lot to be desired, but he has been solid overall in recent weeks, logging at least 55 yards in each of his four previous games. He is worth a look as a flex option against Tennessee in Week 16.

San Francisco 49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk finished with six receptions for 62 yards and a touchdown in overtime on 11 targets in Week 14 against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Huddle Up: Aiyuk has three or more receptions in seven consecutive games, making him a decent WR4 or flex fantasy option in PPR leagues, with lesser appeal in standard play. The 49ers host the Atlanta Falcons in Week 15.

San Francisco 49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk caught three of his six targets for 55 yards in Week 13 versus the Seattle Seahawks.
Huddle Up: Even though Deebo Samuel has served as more of a change-of-pace back than receiver lately, more was expected from Aiyuk in his first game in 2021 without Samuel (groin). Instead, Week 13 was lucky for George Kittle, who eviscerated Seattle for nine catches, 181 yards and two TDs. Even if Samuel sits out again in Week 14, Aiyuk will have his hands full being anything more than a low-end WR3 against a Cincinnati Bengals secondary that has typically given receivers fits this year.

San Francisco 49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk hauled in three of his six targets for 91 yards in Week 12 against the Minnesota Vikings. He also added four yards rushing on his only carry.
Huddle Up: After a first half of the season to forget, Aiyuk turned in three quality fantasy performances in four November outings. It is no coincidence that Aiyuk's work in the passing game has skyrocketed since Deebo Samuel started getting used more in a change-of-pace running back role about three games ago. It is worth noting, however, that the second-year receiver's recent surge began one game before that. Aiyuk should remain a solid WR3 option in Week 13 against the Seattle Seahawks. He could also become a WR2 if Samuel's Week 12 groin injury is serious.

San Francisco 49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk caught seven passes for 85 yards and one touchdown against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 11. He was targeted seven times during the game.
Huddle Up: Aiyuk had a bounce back performance this week and has posted at least 85 yards and one touchdown in two of the last three games. He will see a good amount of targets next week against the Jacksonville Jaguars and can be a No. 2 or No. 3 receiver in fantasy leagues.

San Francisco 49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk posted three receptions for 26 yards on four targets in Week 10 against the Los Angeles Rams.
Huddle Up: Aiyuk was unable to carry over the momentum from his big game in Week 9 against the Arizona Cardinals when he posted six grabs for 89 yards and a score. He has three or more catches in three straights outings, and he is worth a look as a WR5 or WR6 in PPR leagues of 12 or more teams. The 49ers travel to meet the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 11.
