Minnesota Vikings RB Cam Akers caught two passes for 11 yards and one touchdown against the Tennessee Titans in Week 11. He also rushed for 25 yards on 10 carries during the game.
Huddle Up: Akers has been more involved in the offense over the last two games and has not posted great numbers. He probably will see a similar workload next week and could be a possible flex option in some deeper leagues with six teams on bye.

Minnesota Vikings RB Cam Akers rushed 13 times for 38 yards in Week 10 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, while adding a 9-yard reception on his only target.
Huddle Up: Akers saw an increased workload with Aaron Jones leaving the game for a period due to a chest injury. However, Jones was able to return and finish up. As long as Jones remains healthy, Akers is only worthy of fantasy consideration in deeper leagues heading into Week 11 at Tennessee.

Minnesota Vikings RB Cam Akers ran for 46 yards on six carries and caught both of his targets for seven yards in Week 9 against the Indianapolis Colts.
Huddle Up: The most notable takeaway from this game for Akers may be that Ty Chandler was completely absent from the box score, which means Akers is the clear handcuff now for Aaron Jones. While Akers is not a threat to Jones or his workload, he looked good enough with his limited touches to handle six to eight more per game in the weeks ahead. The Vikings have a juicy matchup in Week 10 versus the Jacksonville Jaguars, but Akers is unlikely to see enough work to be worth using in fantasy.

The Houston Texans traded RB Cam Akers and a conditional 2026 seventh-round draft pick to the Minnesota Vikings in exchange for a conditional 2026 sixth-round draft pick, according to sources Tuesday, Oct. 15.

The Minnesota Vikings acquired RB Cam Akers and a conditional 2026 seventh-round draft pick a trade with the Houston Texans, according to sources Tuesday, Oct. 15. The Texans received a conditional 2026 sixth-round draft pick in exchange.
Huddle Up: Akers could have a decent role alongside Ty Chandler if Aaron Jones (hip) misses time. Akers is a stash for now in deeper leagues.

Houston Texans RB Cam Akers rushed for 42 yards and one touchdown on nine carries against the Buffalo Bills in Week 5. He also caught two passes for five yards during the game.
Huddle Up: Akers received his second straight start and had a solid outing for fantasy players. He probably will see a big drop off in touches next week if Joe Mixon or Dameon Pierce are ready to play again. Akers can be a flex option in fantasy leagues if he receives another start.

Houston Texans RB Cam Akers faces the the Buffalo Bills in Week 5, and the Bills are allowing the third-most rushing yards per game and a league-high 5.7 yards per carrry.
Huddle Up: With Joe Mixon ruled out and Dameon Pierce questionable, Akers should lead the Houston backfield for the second week in a row. He managed 53 yards on 13 carries against Jacksonville in Week 4, and he could top those numbers against a Buffalo defense that was just shredded by Derrick Henry. Dial up Akers as a flex option.

Houston Texans RB Cam Akers rushed 13 times for 53 yards in a 24-20 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 4.
Huddle Up: Akers handled a lot of the work on early downs with Dare Ogunbowale operating as the third-down back. As long as Joe Mixon and Dameon Pierce remain sidelined, Akers has potential as a flex option.

Houston Texans RB Cam Akers rushed for 21 yards on nine carries against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 3. He also caught one pass for eight yards and one touchdown during the game.
Huddle Up: Akers was starting because Joe Mixon and Dameon Pierce were injured. Fantasy players will need to monitor the situation during practice next week to see if Mixon or Pierce will be able to play. Akers could be a flex option in deeper leagues if he receives another start.

Houston Texans RB Cam Akers had seven carries for 32 yards against the Chicago Bears in Week 2. He added a three-yard reception, but his most important play was a fumble inside the 5-yard line, which Chicago ended up recovering.
Huddle Up: Akers took over when Joe Mixon (ankle) suffered an ankle injury, and though Mixon returned, it was Akers that saw most of the work in the second half. Akers' value is tied to the availability of Mixon and Dameon Pierce (hamsting), who sat out Sunday night. If both are out, Akers could hold short-term appeal. If not, he's unlikely to contribute enough to be worth owning.
