Los Angeles Rams RB Cam Akers ranked 11th in rushing yards over the final five weeks of the season, but his 4.0 yards per carry in that stretch were the fewest among players ranked in the top 20 in rushing.
Huddle Up: Akers emerged as the lead back for the Rams down the stretch, logging at least 15 carries in each of the final four games of the regular season and recording 46 more carries in two playoff contests. If he maintains a similar role in 2021, he should at least be a volume-based RB2.

Los Angeles Rams RB Cam Akers is an every down running back in the NFL, according to head coach Sean McVay.
Huddle Up: Akers dealt with some injuries during the season but played well when in uniform and could be the main running back for the Rams next season. He can be a No. 2 fantasy back if he receives most of the work.

Los Angeles Rams RB Cam Akers practiced in full for a second consecutive day and was removed from the injury report Thursday, Jan. 7.
Huddle Up: Akers handled 25 touches in Week 17 despite reportedly dealing with a high-ankle sprain, which only caused him to miss one game. There's no way the rookie is anywhere close to 100 percent, as evidenced by his 21 carries for 34 yards last week. The Seattle Seahawks are not a great matchup for him, but the Rams might need him to handle another heavy workload with the questions they have at quarterback at the moment.

Los Angeles Rams RB Cam Akers (ankle) practiced in full Wednesday, Jan. 6.
Huddle Up: Akers is well on track to play Saturday, Jan. 9, against the Seattle Seahawks. He'll be an RB2 option with plenty of passing game work expected.

Los Angeles Rams RB Cam Akers was listed as a limited participant on the team's estimated injury report for Tuesday, Jan. 5.
Huddle Up: Akers ran the ball 21 times in Week 17 but gained just 34 yards. He salvaged some value with four receptions for 52 yards and should again see plenty of work in the passing game with the Rams' quarterback troubles ahead of the Wild Card round. He's a quality DFS option if active.

Los Angeles Rams RB Cam Akers (ankle) is officially active for the Week 17 game.
Huddle Up: Akers probably will share playing time with Malcolm Brown this week but has a chance to be a flex option in some fantasy leagues if better options are not available.

Los Angeles Rams RB Cam Akers (ankle) is considered a game-time decision for Week 17's game against the Arizona Cardinals. He will participate in pregame workouts to determine if he will play.
Huddle Up: Akers had been listed as questionable on the injury report after participating in just one of the team's three practice sessions during the week on a limited basis. He's worthy of consideration as a flex option in some fantasy leagues, although he is likely to share playing time with Malcolm Brown.

Los Angeles Rams RB Cam Akers (ankle) was limited during practice Friday, Jan. 1, and is listed as questionable for Week 17.
Huddle Up: Akers will be a game-time decision, so fantasy players will need to check the inactive list for his status. He probably will share playing time with Malcolm Brown if he plays but could still be a flex option in some leagues.

Los Angeles Rams RB Cam Akers (ankle) did not participate in practice Thursday, Dec. 31.
Huddle Up: Akers has not been ruled out yet but probably will not be available for the Week 17 game. Malcolm Brown likely will receive most of the work at running back and can be a No. 2 running back or flex option in fantasy leagues.

Los Angeles Rams RB Cam Akers (ankle) was listed as a non-participant on the team's estimated practice report for Wednesday, Dec. 30.
Huddle Up: Akers reportedly has a chance to play in Week 17 after previously being ruled out until a potential playoff game. He'll be an RB2 option in what promises to be a run-heavy game for head coach Sean McVay.
