Jacksonville Jaguars WR Laviska Shenault Jr. impressed special teams coordinator Heath Farwell with his work as a returner during minicamp. "He is dynamic," Farwell said. "There is speed and power that you do not see from really across all positions, but especially the returner position."

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Laviska Shenault Jr. looks faster, according to QB Trevor Lawrence. "He looks a lot faster," Lawrence said. "He's just going to be that guy when you get the ball in his hands, he's going to make the play. I think he's made as big improvement since last season and he's really been attacking it. I think it's showing on the practice field."
Huddle Up: Shenault is in his age-24 season and is coming off 58-600-5 and 63-619-0 lines. This could be the year he takes the next step and approaches 1,000 yards. He'll be a WR4/WR5 with WR3 aspirations in fantasy.

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Laviska Shenault Jr. is in attendance for voluntary workouts on Monday, June 13. The Jags were scheduled to have mandatory minicamp this week but head coach Doug Pederson cancelled it to reward veteran players and is instead opting for voluntary workouts.
Huddle Up: Shenault has struggled mightily with drops and has put together two lackluster seasons to start his career. With the addition of Christian Kirk, Shenault's already shaky value was further damaged. He isn't a viable fantasy option in 2022 until we see some better results.

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Laviska Shenault Jr. has at least three wide receivers ahead of him in the pecking order, and he has been returning punts.
Huddle Up: The Chiefs were looking at him earlier in the offseason, and a change of scenery may be the best chance for him to shine right now. He's a WR5 flyer in this situation.

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Laviska Shenault Jr. has received interest from the Kansas City Chiefs.
Huddle Up: The third-year pro had 63 catches for 619 yards last season, which was a smidge better than his rookie year, but he didn't have a touchdown. If he winds up in KC, he would be an electric WR3 in fantasy.

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Laviska Shenault Jr. was placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list Friday, Dec. 24.
Huddle Up: Tavon Austin could see a bigger role, but he offers no fantasy value. Dan Arnold (knee) could return from IR this week and be indoctrinated quickly. He's a low-end TE1 prospect if he plays.

He could be a possible flex option in some deeper leagues but is not a strong fantasy option.

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Laviska Shenault Jr. (foot, shoulder) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Dec. 22.
Huddle Up: Shenault has a chance to return to practice later in the week, so fantasy players will need to check on his status later in the week. He has been targeted at least five times in each of the last six games but has posted at least 50 yards in only one of those games. He will see a handful of targets if he plays but probably can be avoided in most leagues.
