Indianapolis Colts WR Michael Pittman Jr. (knee) will not participate in any of the practices this week because of a knee injury. Head coach Shane Steichen said Pittman is being held out as a precaution.
Huddle Up: Pittman will receive some extra time to rest his knee and should be fine for the start of training camp. He will continue to be the focal point in the passing game for the Colts and should be a weekly starting option in fantasy leagues.

Indianapolis Colts WR Michael Pittman Jr. (knee) remained out of practice on Thursday, May 30. Pittman was injured on May 22 when he bumped knees with another player during a voluntary workout.
Huddle Up: Head coach Shane Steichen noted Pittman should be fine after the injury occurred, so there is no cause for alarm here. The likelihood is that Pittman will not see the field again until training camp in about six weeks. The veteran should be a serviceable WR2 in most fantasy leagues, although he will face more competition for targets this year than he did in 2023.

Indianapolis Colts WR Alec Pierce will battle rookie WR Adonai Mitchell for the No. 3 receiver role during training camp. The winner would be set to start opposite WR Michael Pittman Jr. while WR Josh Downs, who has emerged as the No. 2 target behind Pittman, works from the slot.
Huddle Up: Pierce saw a ton of snaps last season but has yet to deliver consistent numbers. With Pierce now set to fight for playing time in a suddenly deep receiver group in Indy, he looks like a long shot to even make an interesting late-round target in standard leagues.

Huddle Up: The Colts may keep Pittman on the sideline for the rest of the offseason, but he appears to be in no danger of missing the start of training camp. He is the main option in the passing game for the Colts and should be a weekly starting option in all fantasy leagues.
