Huddle Up: Friday goes down as Chase's first full practice of the summer after a couple of limited sessions to begin the week, which followed one or two cameos at training camp. Chase already admitted he will likely be on a snap count if he plays - which is not a given at this point - which puts the Bengals in a predicament with Tee Higgins (hamstring) listed as doubtful. Worse yet for Chase and his fantasy managers - if he plays - is the likelihood he will line up opposite stud corner Christian Gonzalez for most of the day. Fantasy managers likely have no choice but to start Chase, but it could be a slow day at the office.

Huddle Up: A limited Chase is probably better than most options, but managers will want to downgrade him a bit if that's the case. With Tee Higgins (hamstring) trending in the wrong direction, the Bengals could be dealing with limitations at wide receiver. Andrei Iosivas becomes a more interesting dart throw if Higgins is out and Chase is limited.

Huddle Up: Chase appears to be on his way toward playing Week 1, barring a surprise turn of events. With Tee Higgins (hamstring) absent Friday, Chase should see an incredible target share in Week 1.

Huddle Up: Chase is still holding in as he waits for a new contract and there is no indication one way or the other if he plans on playing in Week 1 without one. Of course, if he does play, he should be in your lineup as an elite WR1. If he sits, Tee Higgins becomes a borderline WR1 play.

Huddle Up: There figures to be plenty of optimism surrounding this news update, but there are a few things to keep in mind regarding Chase in Week 1. He has put in what amounts to 2 1/2 practices this summer, he has yet to practice in full and figures to draw shadow coverage from Christian Gonzalez if he plays this weekend. Fantasy managers probably do not have the luxury of sitting Chase this weekend, but the lack of practice and difficult matchup - combined with the increased injury risk late reports run due to minimal practice work - make the alpha receiver a very risky proposition in Week 1 - assuming he plays.

Huddle Up: It is a good sign that Chase dressed for practice Wednesday but his status for Week 1 is still uncertain. He is a must-start option when on the field, but fantasy players will need to continue to monitor the situation during the week.

Huddle Up: This is obviously huge news, as there remains a chance that Chase won't play if his contract situation doesn't get sorted out before Week 1. We'll see what his participation level is later in the day, but this is certainly a good sign. Chase is a locked-in WR1 if he plays.
