Carolina Panthers running backs coach Duce Staley told reporters Friday, Feb. 24, that he believes in using three running backs because playing the position is still like being in "a car wreck." Chuba Hubbard, Raheem Blackshear and Spencer Brown are all under contract for 2023, while Staley noted Thursday that he believes it is important that Carolina re-signs D'Onta Foreman.
Huddle Up: Assuming the Panthers retain Foreman, fantasy managers can expect him to lead the backfield in touches. The problem with Foreman is that he will likely once again be heavily dependent on game script, and that assumes he is used the same as he was last year. Expect Carolina to draft a running back on Day 3 and have him rotate with Foreman and Hubbard in 2023. While Foreman could have some decent upside if he returns to Carolina, Staley's comments suggest he should viewed as a flex option at best.

Buffalo Bills DE Gregory Rousseau (ankle) and S Jordan Poyer (elbow) did not practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 10 against the Minnesota Vikings. CB Kaiir Elam (ankle) did not practice for a second consecutive day on Friday, Nov. 11, and is listed as doubtful. QB Josh Allen (elbow) and LB Tremaine Edmunds (groin, heel) were upgraded to a limited practice Friday and are listed as questionable. WR Stefon Diggs (rest) and RB Taiwan Jones (rest) did not practice Friday but are expected to play. OT Spencer Brown (ankle), CB Dane Jackson (neck), CB Cam Lewis (forearm), LB Matt Milano (oblique), C Mitch Morse (rest, elbow) and OT David Quessenberry (groin) practiced in full Friday and no longer appear on the injury report. LB Von Miller (rest) and OG Rodger Saffold (rest, back) were not given a practice designation for a second straight day on Friday but are also expected to be available.

Carolina Panthers RB Spencer Brown rushed three times for 16 yards in Week 9 against the Cincinnati Bengals, while adding two grabs for 10 yards on three targets.
Huddle Up: Brown was operating as the backup to D'Onta Foreman with Chuba Hubbard sitting out with an injury. It's uncertain if Hubbard will be ready for Thursday's game against the Falcons in Week 10, but Brown's fantasy appeal is limited only to the very deepest of leagues.
