The San Francisco 49ers are hopeful that DE Nick Bosa (oblique) will be able to return to action as soon as Week 15's game against the Los Angeles Rams Thursday, Dec. 12. He had already been ruled out for Week 14 versus the Chicago Bears after missing all three of San Francisco's practice sessions during the week but has been showing signs of improvement.

San Francisco 49ers S Talanoa Hufanga was activated off injured reserve on Saturday, Dec. 7. Also, S George Odum (knee) was placed on injured reserve, OL Sebastian Gutierrez was promoted from the practice squad to the active roster, OG Aaron Banks (concussion) and DE Nick Bosa (oblique) were downgraded to out for Week 14 and RB Ke'Shawn Vaughn and LB Jalen Graham were elevated from the practice squad.
