Arizona Cardinals QB Kyler Murray finished 29-of-36 for 400 yards and three touchdowns with two interceptions in Week 2 against the Minnesota Vikings. Murray also rushed for 31 yards and another score on five carries.
Huddle Up: Murray's athleticism occasionally gets him into trouble, but it pays off for him more often than not. Such was the case in this one, as he spun out of trouble to find DeAndre Hopkins on an early 14-yard TD strike and again on a wide-open 77-yard pass to a wide-open Rondale Moore. Murray has exploited two soft matchups in just the way fantasy managers should have expected, and he'll be in the running for overall QB1 honors next week against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Arizona Cardinals QB Kyler Murray completed 21-of-32 passes for 289 yards, four touchdowns and an interception in Week 1 against the Tennessee Titans. He also ran five times for 20 yards and a score.
Huddle Up: Murray and the Cardinals looked awfully good against a team supposed to contend for the Super Bowl. That's a great sign of things to come for Murray and his fantasy owners. The Cardinals host the Minnesota Vikings in Week 2.

Arizona Cardinals QB Kyler Murray will receive some playing time during the preseason game Friday, Aug. 13, according to head coach Kliff Kingsbury.
Huddle Up: Murray probably will be on the field for a few series but should be on the sidelined for most of the game. He should be considered a No. 1 fantasy quarterback in all leagues because of his ability to throw and run.

Arizona Cardinals QB Kyler Murray said his running ability 'should be a luxury' for the offense. 'And it kind of wasn't like that last year,' Murray said 'It was kind of me having to run for us in a sense and once my shoulder was banged up, or whatever, and I wasn't trying to put myself out there and take those hits and stuff like that, we kind of hit a lull.'
Huddle Up: While it is probably best for Murray's health if he stays in the pocket more in 2021, his fantasy value would suffer if his rushing stats decline. His scrambling ability is going away completely, so should remain a QB1. However, he will have a tough time finishing as a top-five option at the position if he isn't making consistent plays with his legs.

Arizona Cardinals QB Kyler Murray has general manager Steve Keim eager for 2021 as the quarterback enters his third season. 'Because it's arguably the most important position on the field, you always put some time and effort into that position,' Keim said in article Friday, June 25, on the team's website. '(But) I would say my confidence at the position and in general is at a real high. ... with a guy like Kyler Murray, the thing that is so exciting for me is having the opportunity to build around a young player, a guy you can grow with as an organization and as a roster. And there are different things you can do, especially with a rookie contract, as opposed to a veteran who is making a considerable part of your salary cap.'
Huddle Up: Fantasy-wise, Murray is much further ahead of schedule as only Josh Allen (29.1) and Patrick Mahomes (28.8) averaged more fantasy points per game than Murray (28.2) last season. Almost a third (9.2), though, of those points came via the ground so there's still ample room for Murray to grow as a passer. It all adds up to a top-five QB ranking for Kyler entering drafts this summer.

Arizona Cardinals QB Kyler Murray has 'mastered our (offensive) system,' according to comments head coach Kliff Kingsbury made to Omar Ruiz of NFL Media on Wednesday, June 2.
Huddle Up: After trading for DeAndre Hopkins last offseason, the Cardinals continued to fortify Murray's supporting cast by adding A.J. Green via free agency and Rondale Moore in the draft this spring. Had Murray not got hurt midway through last season, he could have finished as the overall QB1. With good health and more weapons, he's a solid bet to make a run for that title in 2021.

Arizona Cardinals QB Kyler Murray threw 26 touchdowns and ran for 11 scores in 2020, becoming just the second quarterback in league history to throw for at least 25 touchdowns and score at least 10 rushing touchdowns in a single season.
Huddle Up: While Murray's production dipped a bit down the stretch, his versatility as a runner gives him a strong floor and the upside to be a top-five fantasy option at the position on any given week.

Arizona Cardinals QB Kyler Murray (ankle) suffered an ankle injury during the Week 17 game and is considered questionable to return.
Huddle Up: Fantasy players will need to monitor the situation to see if Murray is able to return. He is a weekly starting option when healthy.

Arizona Cardinals QB Kyler Murray (leg) has a total of 29 rushing attempts in the last three games, logging at least eight carries in all three contests.
Huddle Up: Murray only had 15 total carries in the three games leading up to Week 14, but despite nursing a leg injury, he has been scrambling more in recent weeks. The rushing stats bolster his floor and his upside, and he will be a QB1 against the Rams in Week 17 with the Cardinals battling for a playoff spot.

Arizona Cardinals QB Kyler Murray (leg) fully participated in practice Friday, Jan. 1, and is not on the injury report for Week 17.
Huddle Up: Murray has thrown for seven touchdowns in the last four games but also has thrown an interception in four of his last five games. He played well against the Los Angeles Rams earlier in the season and can be a No. 1 quarterback in fantasy leagues.
