Arizona Cardinals QB Kyler Murray (knee) is not expected to be ready for the beginning of the 2023 season, as he recovers from surgery to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament and torn meniscus. There is a possibility that he could miss the first half of the season, in order to allow for enough time for the injury to heal completely, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Huddle Up: Fantasy owners will need to keep an eye on Murray's rehab during the offseason and those who have him in dynasty leagues should have contingency plans in place for 2023.

Arizona Cardinals QB Kyler Murray (knee) had successful surgery to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament and a meniscus, head coach Kliff Kingsbury said on Wednesday, Jan. 4.
Huddle Up: Murray will face a lengthy recovery, and as a result of the injury happening so late in the season, it's very possible he misses the start of next season. Fantasy owners who have Murray rostered in dynasty formats need to have a contingency plan in place for 2023.

Arizona Cardinals QB Kyler Murray (knee) will undergo surgery in the next two to three weeks to repair his torn anterior cruciate ligament and will be sidelined for at least eight and a half months, according to sources. Murray also has a meniscus tear but the other ligaments in the knee are fine.
Huddle Up: Murray probably will be questionable for the start of the 2023 season, so fantasy players will need to keep an eye on his rehab during the offseason. Colt McCoy will be the starter for the rest of this season but can be avoided in most leagues.

Updating a previous report, Arizona Cardinals QB Kyler Murray (knee) could miss the start of the 2023 season recovering from his torn anterior cruciate ligament.
Huddle Up: NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport stated it'll be close because of the timing of the injury. Either way, Murray loses some luster after a down year this year and an injury impacted the start of his '23 season. He'll be a mid-to-low QB1 in drafts.

Arizona Cardinals QB Kyler Murray (knee) was diagnosed with a torn anterior cruciate ligament after receiving the results of an MRI on Tuesday, Dec. 13. He will miss the rest of the season.
Huddle Up: It is a sad ending for one of the most electric talents in the NFL, but an expected one after he went down without contact in obvious pain on the team's third offensive play Monday night. The timing of this injury means he will be rehabbing all offseason and makes a stint on the PUP list or IR a strong possibility to begin the 2023 season. Colt McCoy will finish out the season as the starting quarterback in Arizona.

Updating a previous report, Arizona Cardinals QB Kyler Murray (knee) suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in the first quarter of the Week 14 game against the New England Patriots, at least according to initial results, a source said Monday, Dec. 12. Murray is scheduled for an MRI Tuesday, Dec. 13.
Huddle Up: It sounds as if Murray is going to be sidelined for the remainder of the season, if not into the 2023 season. Colt McCoy will finish out the season under center in Glendale, more likely than that, and it will be interesting to see what the organization does going into the new campaign.
