Huddle Up: If the competition was close prior to Friday's preseason finale loss to the Dallas Cowboys, Lock lost any chance he had by throwing three interceptions. The news of Smith winning the job isn't great news by any stretch of the imagination, but he is probably more likely to help D.K. Metcalf maintain WR2 value than Lock would have been.
