Huddle Up: The big question for Thomas is: Will he see the same amount of targets if Drew Brees retires? The rapport Brees and Thomas have is reminiscent of Peyton Manning and Marvin Harrison. Yes, Thomas is an elite receiver; yes, he was hurt last year, but we saw ominous signs. He'll be a top-five receiver in drafts, but he's no longer a slam dunk.

New Orleans Saints WR Michael Thomas (ankle) is likely to have multiple surgeries on the torn deltoid and other injured ligaments in his high ankle this offseason.

Huddle Up: Thomas was clearly not himself in his catchless performance in the NFC Divisional game. With Drew Brees likely to retire, Thomas' value may take a hit with Taysom Hill or Jameis Winston under center. Brees had a rapport with Thomas like no other. He'll still be a WR1, but he may fall down a few pegs to the upper-middle range.

Huddle Up: Thomas has been taking part in practice and should be available for the Wild Card playoff game. He is a focal point of the passing game when healthy and should be a starting option in all leagues.

New Orleans Saints WR Michael Thomas (ankle) has been ruled out for Week 15 against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Huddle Up: Things appeared to be headed in this direction when Thomas missed practice each of the first two days of this week, but it is still a bit of a surprise after he logged 57 snaps last week and did not appear to be hindered during the game. Emmanuel Sanders and Tre'Quan Smith should start in his place. Sanders should be able to muster WR3 value - especially with Drew Brees back under center - while Alvin Kamara could push for 10 targets in what should be a bit of a shootout.
