Washington Commanders RB Brian Robinson Jr. rushed eight times for 20 yards in a 17-16 win over the Indianapolis Colts in Week 8.
Huddle Up: Robinson led the team in carries, but he once again struggled with efficiency and has yet to average more than 3.7 yards per attempt in a game this season. He is a fringe flex option.

Washington Commanders RB Brian Robinson Jr. rushed 20 times for 73 in Week 7 against the Green Bay Packers while adding two receptions for 13 yards on his two targets.

Washington Commanders RB Brian Robinson Jr. rushed 17 times for 60 yards and a touchdown in a 12-7 win over the Chicago Bears in Week 6.
Huddle Up: Robinson handled a bulk of the early-down carries, and he saw carries near the goal line. Washington's offense is lackluster as a whole, but Robinson will at least be a flex play in his current role.

Washington Commanders RB Brian Robinson Jr. is expected to draw his first career start against the Chicago Bears on Thursday, Oct. 13, to kick off Week 6.
Huddle Up: This was the expectation after Robinson returned from gunshot wounds in his leg as a result of being a victim during a preseason carjacking attempt to play 18 snaps in Week 5. The rookie was limited to 22 yards on nine carries, but he encouragingly handled three times as many carries as Antonio Gibson. At least one individual rusher has received 18 carries in four straight games against the Bears, who have been one of the softer matchups for running backs this season.

Washington Commanders RB Brian Robinson Jr. (leg) is expected to be the backup to RB Antonio Gibson and play about 20 snaps in his NFL debut in Week 5, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Huddle Up: Rapoport also notes that Robinson "may eventually be the starter" in Washington, which is where things were heading before he got shot twice in late August. Robinson will be eased into action this week, so he isn't a suggested starting option but he should be rostered in all formats and kept on the bench for now. The job he may be taking over from Antonio Gibson, who has seen 16.5 touches per game through four weeks, could lead to a heavy workload on a weekly basis for the rookie.

Confirming a previous report, the Washington Commanders activated RB Brian Robinson Jr. (leg) from the Reserve/Non-Football Injury list Saturday, Oct. 8.
Huddle Up: Robinson, who resumed practicing earlier this week, remains on pace to make his NFL debut in Week 5's game against the Tennessee Titans. While fantasy owners should temper their expectations for his first game, he could eventually take over as Washington's early-down running back and makes a great stash candidate with potential RB2 upside for fantasy leagues.
