Los Angeles Chargers WR Joshua Palmer and Quentin Johnston should both be able to make jumps in their play next season, according to general manager Joe Hortiz.
Huddle Up: Palmer and Johnston should both be top three receivers for the Chargers next season and likely will have big roles in the passing game. Palmer has been productive in the past and could be a No. 3 or No. 4 receiver in fantasy leagues, while Johnston may be a No. 4 or No. 5 receiver.

Los Angeles Chargers WR Quentin Johnston believes he's "due for a breakout" in 2024, he told reporters on Wednesday, Jan. 31.
Huddle Up: The No. 21 overall pick in 2023, Johnston had a quiet rookie season and failed to do much, even when both Keenan Allen and Mike Williams were out of the lineup. However, he was forced to catch passes from Easton Stick down the stretch, which certainly didn't help matters. His ability to have a breakout year in 2024 will depend on what happens with Allen and Williams, both of whom are cut candidates. If both stay, their presence will almost certainly hinder his production, assuming they can stay healthy, something Williams has been incapable of doing. If one or both leave, Johnston could become the No. 2 option, at worst, for star quarterback Justin Herbert. As things stand now, Johnston should be held in dynasty formats but he's nothing more than a late-round dart throw in re-draft leagues until one of the aforementioned veterans are cut loose.

Los Angeles Chargers WR Quentin Johnston caught two passes for 23 yards and a touchdown in LA's 63-21 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders on Thursday, Dec. 14. He was targeted three times.
Huddle Up: The rookie has seen a bit of an uptick in his production recently, including a career-high 91 yards in Week 14, and he scored his second touchdown of the season Thursday night. While his numbers still aren't great, Johnston at least looks like someone that might produce in the right situation over the final three games.
