Las Vegas Raiders QB Geno Smith (ankle) may have a hard time to recover from his injury before the Week 18 game, according to head coach Pete Carroll.
Huddle Up: Fantasy players can monitor the situation during the week to see if Smith or Kenny Pickett will be the starting quarterback in Week 18. Smith is the more valuable of the two quarterbacks in terms of fantasy, but both can be avoided in leagues.

Las Vegas Raiders QB Geno Smith (ankle) completed 20-of-28 passes for 176 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in Week 17 against the New York Giants before suffering a high ankle sprain in the fourth quarter, head coach Pete Carroll said Sunday, Dec. 28. QB Kenny Pickett finished up.
Huddle Up: If Smith cannot go, and a high-ankle sprain is not easy to quickly shake off, Pickett is likely to get the start in the regular-season finale against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Las Vegas Raiders QB Geno Smith completed 16-of-23 passes for 201 yards, two touchdowns and one interception in Week 16 against the Houston Texans, while he did not have any rushing attempts.
Huddle Up: Smith has been a bit rough this season, and he has committed way too many turnovers. Treat him only as a low-end QB2 in most fantasy leagues heading into Week 17 and beyond.

Confirming a previous report, Las Vegas Raiders QB Geno Smith (shoulder, back) will start Week 16's game versus the Houston Texans, according to head coach Pete Carroll.
Huddle Up: Smith fully participated in all three of the Raiders' practice sessions held during the week and no longer appears on the injury report. He is not a recommended starting option in any fantasy format, although his presence under center should boost the fantasy value of TE Brock Bowers.

Las Vegas Raiders OT Kolton Miller (ankle) was limited in practice all week and has been ruled out for Week 16 against the Houston Texans. Las Vegas Raiders QB Geno Smith (shoulder, back) practiced in full all week and no longer appears on the injury report for Week 16.
Huddle Up: Smith's return does not mean he should be in your lineup. His return is good news for Brock Bowers, but not your lineup if you need a quarterback.
